On Friday, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong posted a photo on his Facebook and Twitter accounts showing get-well cards and messages from residents and grassroots leaders of Tanjong Pagar GRC, where the older Mr Lee is an MP, and from other constituencies. These were displayed in Mr Lee Kuan Yew's office at the Istana. There were also messages from students, such as from the PAP Community Foundation (PCF) Sparkletots preschool, and Malay/Muslim group Ain Society. "On behalf of my father, I thank you all. My family and I are deeply touched by your encouragement, support and prayers," wrote PM Lee. "We've arranged the cards in his office, to welcome him back when he's better." In a statement released on Friday morning, the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) said that Mr Lee Kuan Yew's condition remains largely unchanged since its previous update on March 6. That update said that he remains in a stable condition, and continues to be monitored closely by his doctors. Click here to view the whole thread at www.sammyboy.com. |
