Yo,

Do u guys watch 'scam city' on starhub cable?

Alot of those scams usually involve erotic places such as cabbies bring u there n u get threaten to pay money for talking to the girl etc, or else will get beaten n stuff. Do u guys worry bout this when having fun overseas? Be it malaysia, thailand or europe.

I was in china once n at the hotel lobby a pimp asked if i want girls. Pretty girls, want sex or just massage with happy ending also have n the price he quoted was very cheap (i cant remember exactly how much but i think it was less than sgd20 for an hour plus happy ending) mind u i was in shanghai, not some poor village.

But the catch is he will ask cab to drive me there n its about 15 min ride away from hotel. I said i will consider.

I kept thinking wah so cheap, small head kept telling me to go n look look see see but big head told me he knows i am a tourist, wat if once i reach there they waiting to rob me or scam me. Or threaten to pay sgd100 after session if not dun let me out

In the end i decided to juat pcc in hotel room. Haha

U guys have any opinion or experience to share?

Doorman, taxi straight to the point, it's all too convenient isn't it? Trap all laid out for unsuspecting tourist. Safer to venture out yourself

i watched the 'Prague' episod,where the taxi dropped the host at some random bar,then a pretty girl chatted with him and ask him follow her,to back part of the bar(was multi-tasking,so barely remembered it all,lol),i think...then suddenly a big guy come and punched him,and ask for 500 euros b4 he can leave,lastly he paid all his $,thats 350 euros...dangerous,and the at 'Buenos Aires' episod is the 'black widow' girls...drug u after she followed u back to ur room,dangerous..this means if u travelling,and some random girls comes to you,better just ignore her,there isnt any free meals anywhere,lol

Once, I was in Manila, staying at Holiday Inn. I am abit gusty, dare to walk alone.

I left the hotel lobby and suddenly a man come and say hi to me. Saying he was the hotel staff and one of his female colleague fancy me.

So I was like saying : really, this is nice...
The man keep saying : yeah, yeah...

By the way , his english suck.

So there was a moment of slient, so I say Ok bye bye and walk away. Seems like he want to con me but did not know where to start.

Later, when I was back at the hotel. I ask the front desk manager and he told me be to be careful about such con man.

Heng the only scam i encountered is the girl picture in fl dome 2 and the real girl is different.

In Shanghai this was what happened to my bro....

walking along the street, a chick came up to him and befriended him...She said you looked like from overseas and would you like to go for a massage...my bro followed her and went up to the place but the stock there like fuck...so he said thank you...the girl then suggested to go to a cafe for a drink instead...my friend said ok and thinking no harm...they went to a cafe on a 2nd story type...he scanned and look ok to him not like some black shop....however the girl asked for a private room so they have more privacy...wtf...as if he is fucking her ...btw i was told she was not a looker...so he ordered ice coffee and she ordered a glass of wine... she then asked if her friend can come and join which he said ok hoping is a chiobu...girl came and she also ordered a glass of wine...when the bill came..it was like RMB 800!! My bro said wtf...the girl said its private room and they got tibits etc...he disputed the bill and the other girl disappeared...couple of waiters came to harass him...he asked for the manager but no one came...the girl then made a phone call and she was speaking in some fuckin shanghainese dialect he think...he threw the money on the floor and push his way out...on his way down 2 china ah bengs were on the way up..he still dashed down the stairs quickly...

once he related the story to me i said this is fuckin obvious and i would thought he would not be easily bought in in the first place...he is lucky he is not beaten up there and then...pls note bros...trust no fuckers in china!

What happened to me wasn't really a scam, but more of a little rip-off.

I went to Pattaya with friends, male and female. My main aim was to watch the infamous Tiger Show. We walked around Walking Street at night looking for Tiger Shows. We did chance upon some men holding up signboards promoting such shows, but we didn't dare to try them for fear that we'll be brought to somewhere and roughed up for money. (Any bros care to share if they're safe?)

So the next day I went to my hotel counter and asked for a recommendation for a Tiger Show. The lady made a call and said it costs S$50 a person, with personal transportation provided to and fro the hotel. So we opted for that option. True enough a car came and an auntie drove us to some dark building somewhere. Well, it was a Tiger show alright, but there were more guys showing off their cocks than actual ladies. I think there were only a couple of ladies, doing the pingpong show and dart-balloon show. Knn felt like it was a Ti-boy show instead.

After the show, we went back to Walking Street again and found that the Tiger Shows there went for half the price...... Til this day I still wonder if we've been had.
