Very soon, I'll be moving from a SG Cheongster to a SHA Cheongster... Just accepted a new job to be stationed in SHA.

Just a bit about myself... I prefers HC/spa to KTVs for R&R. Sometimes, a good relaxing tui na session is good, but other times, when a bit naughty, want some action with pretty girls...

For HC preferences, I like those with the works - jacuzzi, hot pool, steam/sauna, tv rooms, etc, etc, etc... I prefer young pretty gals who can give good massage, and hanky panky. Very importantly, I don't do FJ. HJ, BM/BJ, BBBJ, etc... are ok, just stop at shoving the rod it.

Is it a totally new joint ??? I stayed in Ascott-Somerset whenever I am in SH. Didn't know there is a pub opposite the service apartment. This pub will come in handy if we just need to find a water hole for some drink nearby....

Besides the KTVs, can anyone recommend a happening place where you can have a drink, watch singers & dance performances while you ogle at the female bartenders ? Some places also have these girls who will play dice with you as you sip your drink. Any good recommendations ?

I like to but by the 30th, I will probably in BJ or back to Sland liao... I want to get out of China before the start of their "golden week".....by then everybody is on holiday and good places are packed like sadine..... We meet another time loh.....

Xin Tintiandi just around the corner from Huang Pi Nan Lu station is a good place to go several bars / resturants some with shows expensive place for Shanghai because it is one of the main Expat hangouts but cool ogle the women.

Also Hengshan Road in Xihui District is a cool place with lots of Cafe and restaurants very European and is a haunt for lovers !

Be prepared that life here in Shanghai is not as 'wonderful' as u think it is...always expect the unexpected in China....in particular the Shanghainese gals here....

hi fellow bros. i've been living in SHA for over a month now. wondering if u guys can share advice on good KTVs to go to by yourself. 　i've got burned and paid expensive lessons going into a few KTVs by myself already. i think i have a sign on my head that says rip me off. i think going to KTVs by yourself must be a bad idea.

all i look for is a place to relax after a really long day at work, eat some snacks, drink some beers, sing a bit, chat with some female company, then go home. i don't mind paying a reasonable price but hate getting ripped off. last time i barely left a place (alive) with about 3000 rmb less in my wallet.

I have been coming and going to Shanghai for a long time and never found a KTV I felt comfortable in, always feel presured and the couple of times I have done it I have walked out within the hour feeling pissed off.

Now I hang out in some of the Bars always can pick up if I want to just have to watch for the pay me for talking to you trick

I normally stay out of the city centre a station away from the statium next to the expo center and there are a couple of local bars there where I don't get harassed can have a drink and can 50% of the time get of with the local bar maid. and if I want a fuck then the hotel sauns in the Evergreen hotel and TainLin hotel both give you a good session and you get the whole spa works as well for a total damage of around 700 to 800 RMB

Went to one pub along Hung San Lu yesterday with a few friends and was "approached" by some gals.

So each of us to 1 gal each and bought them drinks, some light hugging and holding hands only.
Tips is 300rmb per gal, and have to pay for their drinks some more.

One of my friend wanted to take 1 back home but they say they don't do it.

Any one have experience for "take home" with these gals in pubs?

I'm looking at budget of 1,000rmb or below for stay over.......
