I cant go at that time due to work commitments, but i call her 2 to 3 times daily.
I have sent the smses that i collected to certified vietnamese translators, will be getting the report tomorrow.

if i cant get custody of my babies, i may not get a divorce. just live as strangers with her until my babies grow up

If I am you , I use the viet style to deal with her . First get the number and SMS the brother you are the husband , secondly I do the Vietnam way of beating . 99% of the police came to your house will tell you to settle family problem on own . The follow by some treatment to make sure she want to go back . Then when she go back I do things that she will never come back , after 3 years I divorce her without give her a cent .

Nope this is not possible, even though both are in the same filing process you need to attend the 1st few hearings to determine the divorce approval before proceeding to the alimony & maintenance claims, actually this can be explained using logical sense - if your divorce application are not even approved, how can the courts start to hear on the alimony claims as it is a post process???

KT kor kor oi, its a written law in the Women's Charter, very seldom you can get a waiver unless it is a strong case like child abuse or spousal abuse, adultery is not considered serious enough to warrant special waiver

If she is streetsmart enough, she may be even the one to file for divorce & custody Take note even if you do not agree, you still have to attend the hearings or else the courts will rule in your absence, and this is not favourable to you

Huh??? You do this in Sinkapor or Wetnam????

Either location also not advisable, Sinkapor you will get slapped with spousal abuse or battery, in Wetnam you dunno what connections they have cos we are the foreigners, unless you have tons of $$$$ to throw at the local mafia or police to help you out so if not better not be so reckless......

The laws in Sinkapor already tweaked over so many years through experiences until almost all the loopholes are filled, the only way you can really avoid is that,

- you are really penniless, means you really burn all your $$$, and make sure you dun hold any future jobs for a period of time after the divorce.

- your ex-wife is totally clueless of her rights and the legal process
