I always think gov will stop hfj business, it has too big risk to the society. It is everywhere now, terrible. I am a bad example. I went there with my friends a few times, now some of them retired, but I still can not resist to go. Not easy to stop once step in, normal human beings. I am not worried so much about myself, I am really controlled type of person. But I always heard in hfj threads, someone invest too much in hfj, true or false, let's believe 50%.

Yup, it's not easy to stop. Everyone should have clear objective(s) to be there and if affordable/worth to achieve that.

Erm, what kpi would the gov be applauded on, if they shut down the HFJs. Nothing in the latest newspapers that they would be judged on the general wellness of society in singapore.
More on raising income levels of the lowest segment of PR and Singaporeans right.
What i tell my colleagues, or friends, "Sorry I need to to stay foccused, i cannot help you in that aspect as it is not part of my KPI, please speak to your supervisor on that aspect, apologies I cannot assist you with that"
Same goes with the the gov in relationship to the HFJs... now if the ladies groups kick up a fuss maybe, but nowadays with all of the duck joints doing so well...

It is those customers who willingly give money to HFJ operators & singers so why want the govt to stop this businesses. We have a choice not to go such places right

Please do not attempt to find love, girlfriend or life partner in HFJ because untimately these singers still you all as customers. Even for guys that cannot get girlfriends outside, please do not waste even a $50 flower on these singers. Not worth it at all

gov is very practical, will hfj bring anything good for the country - tax return like casino, probablly not, society contribution, sure not, it can only bring more problems. They spent so much effort(money and people) to raid here and there, so what is the point they approve so many singer visa. Visa fee is rather low, compared to agent fee.
I am not pro-gov or pro-hfj, just share with all what I am thinking about. After learnt from this thread, and do some practice work onsite, more or less I am correct.

I believe 99% of us will try to remember this, but once step in hfj, hot blooded sometimes, even willing to pay on credit. Again, think about hfj 'management's words, you spent more, you are stupid, you spend less, you are ugly, old, F'F'F'F'. So quite strange situation.
I am not drinking yet, so very clear now. After drinking, my talk can be different.
