Issue with ICA

i still going to try this LTVP plus for my wife, but my chances will be veri slim, just married for 10 month and no baby yet, but still hope for the best finger cross.

In print and theory,they will sound very nice but in real they will say,CASE BY CASE BASIS,SORRY I CANT DISCLOSE TO U THE REASON

Dont because of u want your spouse to have the LTVP PLUS,u go and have baby,the most important is whether both of u are ready to have one or not.
To bring up a baby is your own pasar,not theirs,so dont follow their calling cos is non of their business as to whether u can afford or not for the first 20 years expenses

Again, this time the ministry of home affairs decide to play the soft card approach. First to allow eligible LTSVP+ and unsuccessful SPR applicants to attain this LTSVP+, while on the other hand, to control the rate of successful SPR applicants in order to be accountable to the voters.

As I mentioned earlier, ICA can relax and allow more unsuccessful SPRs to fill this new category, but SPRs is still what the spouse wants. And it is still depend on the sponsor's ability.

At the very least, this new scheme help to "secure" those spouse whose sponsors may have encounterd some unexpected job loss, or financial hardship if they have got the pre-approved 3-5 yrs of LTSVP+.

I can tell you, this 12k (with 6k matching) can only last me abt 2 yrs of childcare fees. I have already used up almost 40% of this 12k, my son not even reach K1.
