Golden rules of cheonging in China (with modification from bro KhiongGan, thanks!):

1) Never ever follow touts on the streets...they will sure take you to "hei dian"

All KTV's are fake...(info from Mummy, even the ones likes Rainbow room: All fake). Clubs I am not sure. One thing for sure is that drinking the fake whiskey gives you a fucking bad hangover the next day. All the toxic stuff from the industrial alcohol or whatever they put in it is damn lethal man.

Guandii? My friend doing promotion there now, i actually preferred it before as more space to dance and can cruise around lookign for prey. Now its total sit down so is exactly the same as every other club in SH. Guandii also got PR can sit with you.. Quality OK to so so, I saw one very swee one last time but I didnt take that night as not with the right crowd for that.

MUSE and Guandi drink are not fake... as far as I am concern. However, the single malt whiskey selection in Guandi is a bit limited. I do not know Richie as I don't go to that place. I think both MUSE and Guandi are fun club.

I went to Monkey Bar on Friday night. The location of the bar is in Donghu road. The place is packed that patrons has to wait outside to take turn to get in... The joint is mostly westerner but occasionally you will find actor, actress, and model there. It is a cozy small bar.

Though I spent most of my time in China, i don't have much chance to read or write in this thread for all the internet problems in China. Happened to be in Singapore recently and decided to provide some information for some who are interested in KTVs visit in shanghai

I usually go with my Taiwanese friends to this one KTV in PuXi.. Shimen road. I cannot remember the name but it is next to Howard Johnson 2nd floor.

We contact the same mamasan who is a shanghainese. Her name is Lily. She is not one of those smart Mamasans that we encountered. Quite Plain but she has good attitudes. She will do her best to fulfil our requests and she ensures that the whiskey is real, not fake goods.

The last time I went was before CNY... everygirl is RMB500/- shanghainese or other. One price. 200 for the waitress and 500 for Mamasan Lily.

Usually, we go in a group of 5 people. We spent about 7K all inclusive for a few bottles of macellan whiskeys. 5 to 6 girls for the whole night.

Take out for girls $1500 on top of 500 and 2000 or more for overnight. i have not taken any girl out before but my friends did and they always encouraged me to do so and they enjoyed so much. Always go there when we are all in town at the same time.

I hope this is useful stuff for everyone. But please don't blame me if you don't like her services. Throw stones at her directly and I will not recommend to anyone else. But so far, others have given good feedback. Please note that she is not "that smart type", can be dumb sometimes, needs to tell her more specifically but she is honest.

Recently, I went to a massage shop along WeiFang Road near junction of Pudong Nan Road where all the girls dressed in black dress and black stockings, They sit at the around the reception. Wei Fang Road is a one way street. The shops are just before you past Pudong Nan Road. If I am not wrong, there are two shops within a short distance. For a hour massage

Hi bro,

Try People's Park Centre area for quotes on flights to SHA. Cheapest should be China Eastern Airlines unless SIA has promotions. Also depends whether you want direct flight or transit. Transit might be cheaper but you waste time.

Flight time range from 5 to 5.5 hours.
