Anyone know if there are any reliable OKT in Shanghai that one can call and send girls over to my hotel? Similar to what Lily does in Beijing?

As mentioned by other Bro's, shanghai has a wide range in terms of price and quality.

You can put KTV's in shanghai perhaps in 4 categories (I leave those premium places for government aside, prices there are beyond imagination, gals tipp range from 5k upwards - bonking not included)

1. Upscale KTV (tipps girl 300-700, mummy and DJ each 300, bottle hennessey vsop 1000, xo goes for 2k, takeout 1000-2000)

2. So called business clubs (less posh Ktv but more action, naughty games, lapdance etc.) - girls tipp 300-400, mummy and DJ 200-300, bottle prices and take out, see above)

3. Japanese KTV (smaller then the Chinese type, usually 30-100 girls, 200-250 entrance fee, bottle prices see above, girls tipp is 300, no mummy and DJ, takeout 700-1000 overnight)

4. Budget Ktv (something In between geylang an TAM, not posh, less girls and girls are clearly lower quality, girls tipp 200-300, mummy and DJ 100-200, takeout 800-1000 overnight)

I only frequent the first 3.

As for the bottles. Chivas goes usually for 600-700, hennessey vsop for 800-1000, xo for 2k

areas to consider: Huai hai zhong lu, xuhui, jing'an north section... Those areas got cluster of type 1 and 2, hongqiao got 100+ places of type 3

difficult to recommend a certain Ktv, there are simply too many and quality and service is similar

Forgot to mention Category 5...those blackshops, basically non of the serious Ktv is touting outside, so strictly avoid invitations outside...

And, don't spend your time only in sauna, CP sauna girls are cuter...try shanghai's ktv's, shanghai xiaojie have more style...worth a try...most girls in CP and co seem to come straight from a farm...just my opinion...so, shanghai is more expensive but you get better quality...don't zap me if you see that differently, just my personal opinion and preference

When i was based in sha, i chiong ktv 4-nites a wk, half entertainment, half drinking fun wif buddies. To make matter worse, i lived in the "ring-of-ktvs", bro SGP will know where..

I do agree dat k-gals in sha are a little more tasteful n good at holding their conversation. Many can also speak Eng. More often than not, they r in sha doing some courses, while working there in the evening. Just to cite some examples...

Gal name Rain, 19 y o when i know her on her 2nd day of work. Hail frm Anhui, very demure n sweet, but very daring. Doing some courses in day, work in K at nite. Quit after 1 yr, became a sales manager in a firm doing bldg materials. We've been on constant contact cos i treat her like sister. Look for me in my office and I gave her her first sale.

Tip and take out are seperated in Shanghai... so you have to pay 'sitting tips' on top of your take out fees. Another trick in KTV scene in shanghai is that if you are able to sian the gal, you might get it FOC. The KTV gal in Shanghai is also looking for potential sponsorship and might 'invest' in you if she believe that you are that potential.

just to add, gals avail for "take-away" are diff frm those sit-in only. So if u hv decided on takeaways, u hv to inform the mamasan/papasan in advance.

so far, i've not tried any of those "takeaways" in Sha ktvs, even tho' i always end up bringing the gals home...

Absolutely agree, quite a few times I told mamasan, I don't need gal for takeout, coz then the selection is wider, hehe. However, always at the end the gals still ask whether we can go back without telling mama. Sometimes for little money, sometimes FOC. Those gals are clever, they know they cannot do the job forever. And, a potential BF is for sure paying more at the end. My ex was working in a jap KTV before during your University days. Now she works as a architect. So, a lot of them actually looking for a serious life after their nighttime engagements
