Those who travel within makati and taking taxi, please note 2 things -
A - Check if meter on, if its not ask for meter or get down..
B - Check if the meter is left running... Starting is 40 pesos not 100 not 200..

At any point of time you don't feel comfortable just tell the driver to stop and get down immediately don't argue don't give him any money don't feel bad..

Its very rampant and they even try to cheat locals.. wtf.

Airport taxis start at twice the meter ... as like our Changi Surcharge

On the 15th and 30th, being pay days in Philippines, most taxi drivers tend to over-charge as a lot of customers have pera to take taxi

If any taxi guy bully you, tell him you are calling LTFRB .. the number is stuck on every taxi ..

And, if you get a taxi in Makati, and the driver demands you pay more .. smile, and step out, and tell him you are calling police ... in Makati, with strict rules, the taxi driver may loose his license .. and 99% taxi drivers picking up in Makati are terrified ..

And a common scam is, you hail a taxi, a guy appears from nowhere, and will want to get into the taxi -- Either get out, or ask the driver to throw the stranger out .. the stranger will chat up the driver in mach 2.1 speed and appoint himself as the 'tourist' guide .. of yours ..

If the driver insist the guide stays, as he is his Kuya or Pare, you tell him to FUCK OFF .. and get out .. you are paying for whole taxi, get out and call LTFRB

If you think the natives are doing you a favor by volunteering to guide you .. you are DOOMED .. YOU ARE IN FOR A RUDE SHOCK

Plus .. dunno what is happening, but all if fine, but the snatch robberies have increased ..

Carry just enough money for what you need .. and don't walk around with 20,000 peso and the like (which is like a month salary for a mid-level manager .. )

Guess taxis is a favorite bugbear of those who have been in or around manila

Airport taxis - i try to avoid them like the plague, if at T3, go to departure lounge by escalator, and try and catch a white taxi from those dropping passengers off

at T1, go 3rd floor via elevator or escalator and catch a white taxi as well after they drop passengers off

and always insist on metered rides... sure beats the yellow airport taxis which adds up to almost double the normal fares

FR on 4 days 3 nights

Hello all, I just got back two weeks ago and this is my short FR.

Day 1

Arrived late in Manila and took a yellow metered cab to Malate. Fares start from 70P. Stayed at Las Palmas at 2300P Saw many guest with their Pinoy Chicks, feeling horny, so I dumped my bags and headed over to L.A. Cafe.

No lookers on Level 1, so paid 100P to enter Level 2. Funny thing is the girls don't flock to you immediately (okay, maybe not so handsome), but stay around and make eye contact and they will join you. Chatted up this girl in red with a killer body, but the face was so-so. Played pool, drank some beer, but decided against having her tonight. So.. walked home sad and horny.

Outside the hotel, some tout told me he has a FL contact, a fresh 18 year old needing cash and can do anything. Damm, I knew the bro's in the forum advice against such BS, in case its a scam or underage police case, but I didn't want to sleep alone lah.. so I said okay, but I said if don't like, I will reject. Girl sent up to room.. checked ID.. checked body, checked face.. NOT BAD at all! So paid 2000P.

In bed, 5/10. After one shot, I lost interest and went to sleep. Sent her off in the morning with no tips.

Day 2

Arrivied in Angeles from Swagman Travel. 600P. Stayed in Tiger Hotel as recommended. 1100P.

Lost in Asia and Roadies - It's situated at the Perimeter Road, so took a Trike(50-100P based on Distance) to see-see. No lookers, and a very depressing sight to see the girls looking so sad and reluctant to move their bodies. Girl quality very low (feel like I'm looking at maids), so zoomed back to Fields.

Club Atlantic - Sit around long enough for the pole dancing show and sexy dance. Those girls are wild and can shake their asses. Some might jump onto you and give you a lap dance. Girls not bad.

Forbidden City - Posh looking place with entertaining show and girls were not bad. Bought a LD for a girl but later found out she's a cherry. Xian.

Club Asia - Barfined a Chio bu for 3000P (Looks like Vanessa Calton!) but turns out to be a runner after one shot.

After 2 days, it seems like the girls I pick all have very bad service in bed and have so many issues to deal with. From this trip, I decided I"m not a ON kind of guy, especially with the issues you have to deal with.. theft.. runners. I"m sure other guys have better skill in picking out the right ones. Things are cheap, but there's a tendency to be overly generous with the tips and LD's, so the price can add up very quickly. For a good map of the bars, google "wayne angeles map"

Day 3 - Rented a motorcycle to visit Clark and to scoot around. Rented from " Nice bikes". 350P a day for a Wave 125. I returned it early and was charged 300P. Nice of them to pro-rate the amount... like per-second billing!

Okay, after all the bad experiences.. damm demoralized liao, even found it difficult to get horny after the last two nights.

Club Paradise - Yes, this is it. Highly recommended by many bros here. Many LOOKERS here. Was about to buy a LD for one of them.. when some Jap guy from the back called her over. Moral of the story, fastest fingers first.

As the night grows older, many of the lookers already get booked, so it pays to go earlier to catch them. Current rates (3000P for Premium and 1500P for normal) Things pick up after 8pm, but even 7pm onwards is not too early. Walked around and bar hopped, but didn't feel interested, so went back home to sleep.

Day 4 - Back to Manila on Fly the Bus by Swagman. 600P. Got off and went straight to AF1. Once I stepped in, I knew this was the place for me. Posh, clean and an air stewardess theme! Economy rates are now 900P, and a girl for 1500P, so all in, is 2400P. For twin offer, all in is 4100P.

Took the twin offer and I had two chicks with hot bodies (one was chatty, experienced and warm, the other was shy. Best of both worlds) wah lau.. finally manged to get some quality chicks and service!! During my second shot, me and the chatty girl decided to service the shy one, and then she decided to watch us fuck and moan sexily while caressing our bodies. Highlight of the trip!! Suppose to be 1.5 hours but we only came out after 2 hours because of the fun we were having. Shoik ah! Went home a happy man after that.

I think to find a good FL and get a good time depends on your chemistry with, and that one I'm still clueless man, and many bro's here are pro. For now, I will just stick to MP and Spas, at least I know what to expect!

one more thing... you may get caught up by airport taxis, which try to pick up pax, but once inside, you realise there is no freaking meter ..

then the driver pulls out a 'charge card' and says "Makati to SM North .. 300 peso" and it is printed ..

You either can depart the taxi ... or stick with it .. especially when you are around Kalayan, where taxis are so damn rare

So ... when you see a worn, hacked taxi and a smart new one, go for the former .. as the latter may or may not be a airport / charter taxi .. assholes ....

Field Report :

Manila Bay Cafe - knn they dun give name card so want to report the address here also cannot. but I think some earlier reports here has shown the address. cb dun know how to do business. Basically this place is a pub cum restaurant. 2 levels but the second level opens only at night. This place operates 24 hours. This place is hit and miss. If you want to find a fair chio pinoy, i think it depends on luck. The WLs here are considered old; mostly in the 20s. A lot of Ang Mos there so I believe this place caters more for ang mos. look wise 5/10 & 6/10. I was there in the afternoon and the second level wasn't open yet. I left the place after 2 beers. I think will not go back to this place again.

Havana at Greenbelt, Makati - Plenty of FLs. Even at a busy nite, I can see the ratio of FL to male customer at about 4 to 10. At the neighbouring starbucks, there are so many FLs lurking around. When I was on the way to the toilet in Havana, at least 2 FLs signal their availability to me. This place definitely caters for ang mos but they do go for chinese too. I was offered at a rate of 5,000 peso for LT. I think the rates is too high here and is normally non-negotiable. looks wise I think random...5/10 to 7/10. Will skip this place next time. Definitely for tourist and carrot head.

Fort Strip at Bonifacio city - This is a new town at Metro Manila. No Jeep-nies and bus here. This place is a high end residential and commercial area. There are pubs here and people coming here are rich. Dun think you can find FLs here but if you are in a long haul in Manila, can come over here to sian pinoy. There is a gentleman's club here patronized by Koreans, Japanese and rich local pinoys. They have uni students as GROs. look wise : average 7/10 and occasionally might find one with 8/10 looks. This place close at 2 am. Theme is ma chiam like musical chair. GROs will sit with you for 15mins and after the time is up another GRO will sit with you. A standard package is 1.5 hrs so theoritically 6 GROs will sit with you. A bit awkward becoz you are sitting in a posh sofa in a open hall. No KTV's rooms here. After sitting with you for 15mins, they will provide you a name card. You can contact them after their working hrs. Concept is like our hang flower joints. They will fish you and you might end up going there to patronize frequently and still achieve nothing with them. They dun do LT and ST.

EDSA Entertainment : got one 19 years old pinoy for LT.
Looks : 7/10
She is very fair and looks quite pretty to me.
Check her ID before agreeing to bring her out...
Her ID shows born in year 1992 and skin : Fair
Very green and was working in Firehouse for 1 week only.
Charges : 1.6K for bar fine and 2K for LT
Dun negotiate with the mummy there. Just nego with the girl.
In average the WLs in Firehouse has 6/10 in looks.

I also had one 21 yrs old girl in EDSA Entertainment Complex fresh. According to the Mummy there, it is only her 2nd day of work when I BF her. 1st day of her work nobody pick her up. not club 526... the fort strip is like our clark quay...restaurant and pubs centralized in one area. only one gentleman club there so if you are there, sure can find it.

when i arrived at airport, I went to the arrival hall to take the white taxi..
KNN quoted me 800 peso to go to pasig city...
search around and then find one white taxi willing to take me with meter.
I think for first timer to manila, it's better to take the yellow taxi
In my opinion, yellow airport taxi is safer
