just want to comment a bit on whats happening recently..
next match Madrid, hopefully the players recover from fatigue to play a good match. people who dont understand why after travelling, some teams dont perform should travel more..
stupid owners probably going to stay longer if the report on the banks "easing" the interests payment is true, read somewhere (cant find the web-link already) that when Barclay came in, the US bank (Wachovia?) got scared of losing the loans (and its interest payment of course) and offer the owners a sweeter loan deal to keep their loan .. what the hell! and while i can understand their point to make a good profit, but what the fark, asking for 3-4 times original bought price, without stadium done.. true, Liverpool value as a club have improved a lot since they took over (courtesy of RB for making Liverpool as stronger team and Christian Pulsow for the marketing efforts =) ) but got until so high meh?? ccb..
also, i think the financial institutions really damned fucked up for arranging all these M&A transactions (cause they will want to have good profit/business dealings also mah..) because i think who ever going to buy Liverpool, will load more debts to the club, imagine if u are the potential buyers, and that you are a wise businessman with sharp business acumen, would do come out with the 1 billion asking price CASH? i bet it will be mostly debts financed by Barclay (i think thats why they are sooo interested to "help" to sell the club) in this case, the banks win, the American owners win, and if the new owners can find another stupid (sorry for the term, but i think its true) potential buyers willing to fork out the money to buy in future, they also win.. the losers are the fans and the last owners, who probably going to jack up the ticket price or other things.. until the bubble burst and Liverpool, or any football club, in this matters, collapsed due to debts.. then the banks going to "re-structured" the loans or write off some of the debts.. (really praying hard the next owners is/are genuine Liverpool fans who going to clear the debts and make the club private again..)
lastly, Torres says he didnt do the surgery for Spain.. but read the last line.. am i the only one who think that its all bullshit? he can win CL and EPL with liverpool next season or next next season, but WC is only once in 4 years.. which is more "hua suan".. Torres explains surgery decision - Liverpool FC
i think he shd jus forget abt the world cup, have a good rest n a good pre season n be back nxt season,i don t think rafa wld have palyed toress with that kind of injury cos one bad tackle n it might be worse than now, rafa did try to protect him by taking him off in some games.he might jus be back 4 the europa cup final if we can get there,i think we will get there.fingers crossed.

Pls do not visit the point exchange groups giving the impression you are keen to exchange points but disappear after one post. Or promise to return points but did not do so after months.
Min 5 pts for exchange.

But I think it won't happen simply cos the agent is just using us to improve the terms of contract with Evershite.

actually hor.. i did post very long ago that if GIC had just put their losses of dunno how many BILs to buy over liverpool at a fraction of the cost at 300M+ pounds..
if that really happens i would be delighted since when did SGP own a football club? then we can send our young players over for some trainging stint

Liverpool suitor wants Rafael Benitez to stay
Chinese businessman Kenneth Huang is ready to launch a £500 million bid to buy Liverpool and wants manager Rafael Benitez to remain at Anfield.
Rafael Benitez tries to rally his troops in Madrid
Huang, a former Wall Street broker, claims he has already been granted access to the Premier League club's accounts and expects to table an offer within two months.
Liverpool's current owners, Tom Hicks and George Gillett, put the club up for sale last week following three years at the helm.
Huang, who is working alongside business partner Adrian Cheng on the deal, insists Benitez is key to his plan and will fight off any interest from Serie A side Juventus.
"Negotiations have taken place over the last few months and we are at a crucial stage," Huang told the Sunday Mirror. "I really hope it turns out to be a successful bid. Right now my audit team is examining the books and my legal team is in close contact with theirs.
"We have a fierce competitor in the Middle East, but it could be finalised in June."
He added: "I was first approached (to buy Liverpool) in 2008 when I was in Singapore attending a Formula One Grand Prix, but the asking price was 1billion US dollars.
"It was totally unreasonable so I turned it down. The asking price has dropped significantly and we are talking again.
"I want Liverpool to win the Champions League and Premier League and I think Benitez is a very good coach."
Benitez's agent Manuel Garcia Quilon revealed last week that he had spoken to a potential Chinese investor and that any deal hinged on him staying at Anfield.
Benitez has persistently been linked with a move to Juventus in the Italian press and is reported to have been offered a £5 million salary and an £80 million transfer budget.by soccernet
another buy, maybe this time the deal will go thru.
