Re: Tieng Viet lovers club
Just toking in general, I find that northern gals have more well-developed boobs than their southern sisters. Don't believe, just take a walk around around Hanoi during summer, when the gals wear their low-cut t-shirts.

Firms try to encourage workers to return after Tet
================================================== ======= Enterprises are facing labour shortages after Tet as many workers have yet to return to work following the break. In early days of the Lunar New Year, only enterprises at industrial park and export processing zones that have good social welfare policies have been able to encourage their workers to return after their holiday leave. HCM City: Serious worker shortage Several enterprises are applying various methods to attract workers after Tet, including providing lucky money and providing a half month advance on February’s salary. According to an anonymous leader of a sport shoe firm in HCM City’s Tan Thuan Industrial Park, to date several of the company’s factories have yet to resume operations as workers from central and northern provinces have yet to return to work. HCM City Industrial Park-Export Processing Zone’s Job Placement Centre is offering to recruit over 5,000 workers for the garment and textile, electronic assembly and engineering sectors. Nguyen Thanh Tung, the centre’s director, said despite recruitment demands being as high as previous years, the number of people applying for jobs remains modest, resulting in significant labour shortages. An anonymous official of the HCM City Industrial Park-Export Processing Zone Authority (HEPZA) said over 60 per cent of workers at industrial parks and export processing zones were not from the locality and had failed to book transport to return to work. Many enterprises resumed their operations after Tet with only half of their workforce. Enterprises that have better social welfare policies, including those subsidising transport costs recorded the highest number of workers returning to work. Hanoi: Over 90 per cent of workers return to work Almost all enterprises at eight industrial parks in Hanoi resumed operations on January 30 with nearly 120,000 workers. Nguyen Thi Thuy, a worker at a foreign-invested company at the Thang Long Industrial Park, said “This year, several companies at the park have implemented better social welfare policies for workers, which has encouraged them to return to work on time after the Tet holiday.” Workers at major companies such as Canon have given lucky money to workers who return to work after their holiday as a move to encourage their workforce. Dinh Quoc Toan, chairman of Hanoi Industrial Park-Export Processing Zone’s Trade Union, said most of enterprises would attract over 90 per cent of their workers to return to work, some had even encouraged 98 per cent of their workers to return after their holiday leave thanks to their improved social welfare policies. Dong Nai, Vung Tau lacking garment and textile, leather shoes workers Huynh Tan Kiet, chairman of Dong Nai’s provincial Labour Union, said between 80 per cent and 85 per cent of workers in the province have returned to work after Tet holiday. In Ba Ria-Vung Tau, several enterprises operating in leather shoes production, garment, paper and seafood processing have resumed operations even though many workers have yet to come return following their holiday leave. Binh Duong: Workers picked up Chairman of Binh Duong Province industrial park trade union Bui Thanh Nhan said as of January 30, 75 per cent of workers had returned to work after the Tet holiday. On January 31, 60 per cent of enterprises at local industrial parks had reusmed their operations. Hoa Sen Group at Song Than 2 industrial park churned out the first pack of products since Lunar January 5 to meet an order. Nguyen Hong Anh, Human Resource Manager at the 3/2 Garment and Textile Company said the firm has organised cars to pick up over 1,500 workers after Lunar January 6 to ensure operations resumed on schedule. Until now, nearly 80 per cent of workers had returned to work. Dtnews/Laodong

Re: Tieng Viet lovers club
Notre Dame Cathedral is a serene rendezvous
================================================== ======= When mentioning churches, people might think about priests offering Mass, chorus singing, elderly people praying and children learning Bible lessons. However, when people talk about the Notre Dame Cathedral, which is situated in the heart of HCMC, they will immediately see the image of a familiar rendezvous of people who are catholic or non-catholic, young or old, and rich or poor. It is easy to spot sidewalk cafes around public places such as post offices, schools, commercial centers and parks and the Notre Dame Cathedral is not an exception. Hence, the church, built by the French between 1863 and 1880 with bricks from Marseille, is one of the most famous landmarks of the city and part of the city’s cultural life. Saigonese often gather on the sidewalks around the church and nearby Park 30/4 to meet, chat, have a cup of coffee, study or simply look at passers-by. One factor that makes HCMC exceptional is the contrast between the old and the new, the ancient and the modern, the luxury towering building and the old shabby one. The church also has two opposite elements: stillness inside and hustle outside. The interior and exterior of the building is definitely majestic, boasting the glory that any cathedral should have. The interior can’t be compared to those in Rome or Paris, but there is something to be said for the vaulted ceilings and organization of holy figures around the cathedral. Meanwhile, the exterior is highlighted by the red color of the original bricks from Marseille, the two 40-meter-tall spires that define the skyline of the city and the statue of the Virgin Mary in front, creating a splendid view to admire and a nice background to take photos. There are many people frequenting small cafés around the cathedral. Early in the morning, while some people still jog, some middle-age men gather at those cafes with morning newspapers in hand. When the sun rises, Park 30/4 gets busier with students who gather to discuss their home assignments, share soft living skills or draw sketches of the church. Some young people also bring guitars and violins to play and sing together. The striking thing is not the constant flow of tourists that move in, out, and around the cathedral, but the numerous brides and grooms that are stationed strategically around the church to take wedding photos. Couples with their entourage of photographer, photographer’s assistant, driver, umbrella holder, and backup camera crew have to bear the scorching heat to smile, pose and try hundreds of shots. When the sunset comes, the area around the cathedral will get crowded. Parents take their kids to play around the statue of the Virgin Mary while some people pray sincerely. In Park 30/4, young people continue to muster to chat, sing, study and enjoy some snack. If there is no chair left, they would sit anywhere they find suitable. Due to large gatherings around the church, there is an army of vendors offering toys, balloons for children, coffee and drinks for adults, snacks for girls and flowers for boys. SGT
