Around 6pm, my friend call 情歌 to book a room and they said no need, on a first come first served basis. Night time operating hours is from 8pm to 2 am.

So off we went and got a room. It was room 1, stuck at the very corner. No big deal. Gals will still come but just slightly later as they go thro all the other rooms first. But there was this speaker blasting out techno songs at very high volume right outside of the room, extremely irritating. Even with the door closed, you can still hear it very clearly. We had to turn up the volume of the songs just to somewhat listen more clearly to our songs.

The waitress ? Only when she brought in glasses did she pour drinks. And another trip just to clear the fruit plates. Took about 1 and a half hours after we told her bout the damn speaker that the thing was shut off.

Butterfly rate is bout the most frequent I have encountered but I think that is as per normal.

The one thing that really made things bad was the charges. Supposed to be 3 beers for 160+ or a small martell for 170+ and can save for the next trip and room charge will be cheaper so we took the martell option.

Went in at around 7.30 pm and then at 11pm, the bill came in. My friends and I were confused ? Operate till 2 am but bill at 11pm ?

Waitress said that the timing is for 4 hours only, starting from the time you came in ?

WTF

$170++ for 4 hours ??

Not even DM or Amani charging such a rate or any other non-mommy based ktvs for that matter. Wanted to give this highly rated place a try and ended with a bad taste.

but if u have been to TH before u will know this is how they operate. cos they have 3 time slots ma. 8pm to 12.30am. u wan to sit from 8-3am, u can, but u have to tell the waitress early, den they will charge u accordingly. but mind you, its very expensive. many many plates of fruits...etc. i find the waitress here very not staedy, they just hoping u open small bottle everytime.

Maybe their business getting too good that they are starting to charge with impunity. I remember reading in the Amani thread that when they open their business was really good and they got quite arrogant. Some samsters started a boycott or something and a few months later when I went amani for the first time, encountered none of what samsters wrote previously. Perhaps the boycott worked or maybe competition from DM.

Whichever it is, KTVs are like babes, still many others around. If this one don't work, plenty of others to choose.

Maybe some more experienced samsters that go QG can list out the different rate/packages/timing ?

just came back frm QG again. Found out dat Sunday can be equally fun, if not better. U just have to get the girls with the right frequency as u.

i think there is a couple of gems in QG. young n pretty.

haha ...no la bro, i very long nvr go such places liao. Den went in to look c look c , who knows i got hook on to the experience. its a different experience after resting for so long.
