New FR on HMG 28/01/2011
Present: Gila, Ah Seow + XBS

Was a quiet afternoon wif me & my new toy from HMG, so picked her up around 3pm yest, shack the daylights outta her and proceeded to my fav jap rest to meet up wif Gila & XQ for dinner.
That nite, ended up wif the Prince at HMG wif bro XBS there too.
Very quiet nite.
Only 2 tables wif a group of loud bengs at the pool table.
Flowers were pathetic so told my chick to 买场 at midnite, went back to our love nest again and the Prince proceeded to meet XQ for another shacking round.
XBS stayed behind so dunno about any action later.

The gal who did the show that nite was there, all out to avoid us as well as make any eye contact.

Conclusion, very tired, very weak, very drained!

I've been reading this thread with much interest. These are some of the things I find particularly interesting:

1 judging from the spending power, the language and "reputation" of the posters. It would seem safe to assume they are intelligent, of considerable wealth and standing.

2 which leads me to wonder even more as to why so much money is being thrown at these HFJs? For what purpose and ends? face? sex? Of course at the end of the day, the oft quoted response of ...as long as one is happy/spend as you see fit, applies. But seriously, on reflection, is it really all worth it? Or at some point, you will have to say it is, so as to prevent cognitive dissonance.

But I guess one thing we can all agree is that the HFJ and the WL/singer benefits the most at the end of the day regardless of who wins the flower hanging wars :-)

No flames pls...just my observation and adding to discussion on this very lively and interesting thread. Gives me an inside glimpse without actually stepping into these joints and spending my hard earned dosh! Tks!

Hi Bro, yup the mechanics and lure of hanging flowers is multi faceted and often defies logic...for example why would someone hang $50K on a singer when it can buy you a very high end model uni grad escort for a few months?....so it can't be simply quantified as such....

but $50K to the esteem bros in this thread is probably just 1% of their wealth so it is probably not excessive to them....sometimes you got so much money you just don't know where to spend....so hang flowers lor...

Some of these singers are quite unique and worth the money some are not....so the esteem bros here will just spend accordingly...

Yes, I can understand it better now that you have framed it in that manner. Ultimately to each his own I guess. Personally I still would not spend that kind of money even though 50k is only a small % of wealth. Much rather give it to family or charity ...anyway tks for sharing a different perspective.
