Day 3 contd

Thought it made no sense to stay across the street from Malioboro, and not having given it a go till the third day. So I went over at around 11 pm.


Place: Malio Club

Price: Blue Tag Girl (800k) + Cash Tip to Girl (100k) Red Bull + VIP Room + Tax (798.69k) = 1.3095mn

OK, the room charge is kind of a BS, but oh well, that is how things are done here, and frankly, was curious to see how different the VIP room would be. Turns out, the room is just about on par with what I had at Alexis earlier.

Befriended a Mamasan M, who took me around Malio Club to explain the pricing system. For FJ, Blue Tags go for 800k, Yellow Tags go for 1.1mn. Did not find a single Yellow girl who I thought was more attractive than Blue.

Day 4

Headed down to Emporium Spa at around 4:30 pm. Ended up not taking a girl. The spa itself was nice though, big jacuzzis, comfortable reclining benches and sauna, steam room all available on site.

I had same experience last time at Emporium Spa. For my tastes it seems hit/miss, and if you don't take a girl, you basically end up paying $20 just to look at girls.

Even though Alexis costs more, there are more girls there and better chance you will take a girl and hence avoid paying a $20 looking fee. You should have at least enjoyed the spa facilities before you left to get some of your money's worth.

After my first failure of sorts at Emporium earlier, headed down to Malio Club around midnight, because the Mamasan I had met yesterday promised to help me choose a Dancer.

Upon entering, immediately found this one girl in a white costume, with the fittest body I have yet to encounter in Jakarta so far. Been in Depok and Jakarta, here's some experience to share with everyone.

I actually starts in Depok, and managed to find time to spend the night in Jakarta.

Depok is basically a town without much entertainment. You can even buy alchohol beverage from the shop or anywhere. Not to mention there's no bustling nightspots such as those in Jakarta.

Have been checking out backpage listing for few days, and my common sense told me that its nothing but scam (mostly). However has seen a particular listing that captured my attention (for few days) and one night finally decided what the hell, what could go wrong, if the gal is not the same, i just send her off.....so i pickup the phone and start emailing the agent. I received reply, and after few rounds of communication she (she says call her Bunda) gives me mobile number and communication switch to via SMS (she said no whatsapp, which should have been a tale tale sign)

I have asked many questions, and was told that girl are real, they have posted many sites and never been reported so that means there are legit, no need down payment, they will dispatch a driver and the girl, pay 50% to the driver, and then pay rest to gal. After realising in order to get some actions, i have to be in Jakarta, hence decided to book a hotel in Jakarta. Thanks to previous post by some samsters I booked Yello, opposite of the infamous Malio building.

Left on Friday night, took me about 1+ hours to reach hotel which is pretty fast as I was told under usual traffic it will be easily 2 hours journey.

Checked in to Yello hotel around 10, great little hotel, love the brightness and cheerful mood of this hotel, clean, chick, and cheap. Room is nicely decorated, simple and confortable. Then took a shower and thinking of what next. Open up SBF and go through this threads again to see if I can get some idea or two. Although Malioboro is just across the road, the thought of constantly being swamped by ladies asking for LD makes me think twice as I was rather tired and wanted something less stressful..... so decided to check out Alexis instead. Desmond, I went to Malio Club two nights in a row and unlike my pre-visit jitters, its really easy to fend off the LD requests. The key is to really be clear, and obvious with your rejections. For me, I like to cross my arms to make a huge, unmistakable "X", so both the waiter and the girls can see, despite the blaring music or English limitations or whatever. Also, contrary to what I heard about Malio being incessant with tip requests, I have never been bugged by anyone for tips there.
