Just my opinion. It would be far easier/faster for us to learn tieng viet than for VBs to learn Eng/Chi. I have seen many cases where guys here send VBs money for English classes etc most of them give up after awhile.

There are perhaps 3 exceptions:
1) When VB is all geared up to become WL, earn money in SG/MY then no choice, they have to learn for survival.
2) When the gal is a Uni grad.
3) When the gal works in hotel/tourism/hospitality

yup...a gal rated 8/10, I knew found a bf in sinkee who wants marriage...but the VB asked bf to pay for classes...then after graduate split with bf who lan lan pay for all her 2 years English and make-up class...now working as a make up artist for events...

morale of story...better guy learn TV...then pay gal learn english which I had discouraged many friends to do so...now friennds speak basic TV and thanked me for stopping them previously...

The biggest i problem with VBs is even if they are the type who willing to be "bao", somehow they will screw up that good opportunity for easy money, eg. getting a good sum of money by just become a few days gf with a man every month.

I met 1 VBs last year told me she used to have 1 jap bf, paid her US1500 per mth. She only need company him about 1 week per mth. But somehow she cannot stick to scedule, some days fly aeroplane, some days get bored so only stay with him for 2 or 3 hr. The jap bf eventually call off the relationship after 4 mth. After that she start looking for another similar bf...but seem like the same problem will come back again.

Btw, I'm actually considering on changing at the airport itself. Will it be a huge difference? Cos I'm worried I might not be able to locate the exchange in town. And is it a must to have USD on hand? I won't have any dong on hand when I reach hcm.

if 4D3N and still need to pay gals besides meals, taxi transport, not sure if you be going disco, lounge, family ktv...then S$ 400 or 6.5mil dong is not enough to spend for 2 person...

no market to give gal but if gal stay with you 24 hrs per day then 2mil per day which is 6-8 mil if stay 3days or 4days...

I dont mind your criticism. Good for you to point out that the method is primitive and response is poor. This is just an old trick for someone who can not speak tieng viet and the girl English is super low.

For those have moved on to better ways, i.e. find VBs face to face directly, tieng viet is probably required. So, for someone who is still learning tieng viet, how is he going to move to better ways when language is still a barrier. While he is improving his tieng viet, the primitive paper and pencil helps.

Besides, how is it possible for someone who is living and working outside Vn to target decent VBs in VN by goin face to face directly. The person can only do so for maybe 3 days 3 nights short period of time when he visit VN. He will have no chance of doing face to face for the bulk of his time back home, unlike those who are in VN longer time plus already can use tieng viet to utilise the better ways beyond the primitive ways suggested.

Anyway, the main key to succeed in scoring VBs goals is not about how a person approach the girl, approaching is only one aspect of wooing, but the main key is CONNECTIVITY. How to connect with a girl such that she will be willing and think that she is making love and not being a slut. Different type of girls require different ways to connect.
