Dun reckon it will be this year...Maybe Mar 2010...Heard that heaps had changed in PP and things are slow and many joints had shut. Now that the economy is picking, dunno if there are heaps joint open?!

I will be going there on my own at the end of this month, backpacking from PP to SR. Been reading a lot about all your experiences, sounds very interesting.

Hahahaha! I will do that but the main reason I am going there is to experience Angkor Wat. I don't think you guys would want any updates based on that experiences. Very small chance I might be up for some naughty activities while I am there.

But in case something happens, I will definitely let you guys know.

Wow Bros, glad to know that this thread is still active.
I did not post as i was not able to make the trip to chau doc from pp since the last time i went.
Well, now that i have finally made the trip, i can finally post my experience.
I finally found out, through the net, about this company called the blue cruiser and they got a boat going to chau doc in the afternoon. Got my regular hotel staff to book a ticket for me and true to their advertisement on the net, they put me on a speed boat all the way to chau doc. Total time of the trip took about 4 hours inclusive of immigration clearance both at the cambodian and vietnamese borders.
I was the only one on the boat and i had a good time enjoying my trip. It was as if i was on my own speed boat.
Will be going back to pp on the 8th and will try give an update of pp if i can get the time to get out to look at the cheong places.

Also, if any bros fancy coming to chau doc to relax and unwind, i found a ba xa friendly hotel right in the middle of town where they do not insist that you take 2 rooms. Pm me for the info if you are interested.
