wah this kind of news i think the shops will be in trouble soon...the ladies stand at d entrance of d shop n wave or ask u in a loud voice whether want massage or not...the media will sure feature this as singapore not much activity to broadcast....worst if some news presenter want to win award go n make an hour feature on this... once this diana ser i think just stroll at talma with her collegue filming...n can ask a bro wether tempted to ask for their services or not... i think is 'get real' or somerging like this..

It seems that the Fortune Centre is seeing a revival in massage parlours offering hanky-panky services.

It used to have many such joints and they died off after some clamp down by the Police

Sad to say, they are back again.

There are now more than 16 joints that offer massage services. Most of them provides full commercial sex, by women who are on social visits.

At level 4, there are more than 4 new joints in operation. Near the lift, there are 2 joints operated by the PRC women who wear skimpily and soliciting for business. They will immediately offer sex the moment their customers pay $20 for 30 min "massage"

Further down, there is this Bugis Health Centre which was raided a few months ago and despite that, they still provide commercial sex.

On the same level, near the toilets, there is a whole sketch of massage joints providing the commercial sex in the name of massage or facial treatment.

The worst & most dirty of which is the #04-09 (Shui Mi Tao) which is operated by a few foreign women who are not PRs. Most of them come from China on social visits.

There are many such joints at level 3 as well. At level 3, beside the snack and meal shop, there is this signboard that indicated "Hair treatment". However, there are no hair stylists and yes, they provide commercial sex.

In fact this shop is under the same management as #04-09. They also operate another shop at #02-02 which provides the same extra services

There are many other joints as well - Body Concepts, Orchid, Aroma, Hana, Choli, Harmony etc etc

Do we need so many massage joints in such a small Fortune Centre ? Each level has < 20 shops and these joints already occupied at least 4 units on each level.

Due to strong competition because of downturn in economics, many of these joints do provide RAW sex if the customers requested for them.

Many of these joints, especially those small little ones are operated by foreigners who are possibly on social visits. They do not have regular health checks although they provide commercial sex.

Also, many of these joints have wall partitions which are not supposed to be under the regulations for Massage & Tui Nan joints.

Fortune Centre is near to many schools such as SMU, Nanyang Academy and other private schools. Many students are there for lunches. Also many other people go there for vegetarian meals.

It should not be turned into a breeding ground for hookers to ply their trades.

I hope the Police & the relevant Authority would take prompt action against these illegal joints

Today after goin Paradiz SPools, went FC recce recce. I didnt even knw of d article reported in asiaone til i came home late tonite.

All's normal in my aftern visit but next week i cant b so sure liao. cos usually after such places r reported in media, d mata may have to take action liao else gotta forget abt their yr end bonuses lah....bo cho kang mah.

After d visit, n seeing a few lookable ladies, i was still thkg ho seh liao lah ... at least FC's starting to be interesting again ... but nw i thk my dreams goin to be shortlived soon lah. anyways, i dun wanna write so much details here n help d mata's job easier lah.

From the way he wrote, I tend to believe he could be one of the clean joints tenant

Due to bad economy and strong competition, his business could be severely affected by the PRC joints.

He had listed a few joints exact unit numbers but did not do so for the rest.

i wont b surprised bro if its d tenants stabbing ea other. if im a 'clean' shop which had established my presence in FC for xx period, n tis 'dirty' shops had been takin away my business, i'll scourge every oppty to eliminate them fr d game.

or it may oso b d other tenants who r disturbed by d presence of d scantily clad gals or hum sup custmrs who always eye them with sleazy eyes n might mistaken them as masseusse.

but oso to b fair a bit, d presence of d massage joints oso brought more biz to d other retail outlets esp d foodstalls.

Went FC today to look look see see and really many new shops popped out. Hopefully no tenants complain and can try out them soon.

I agree with what you said.

I think if competitors have any quarrels or disputes, they should hold talks privately.

Now, they are putting we cheongsters at risks - who would want to be caught in the middle of something.

Looks like I need to avoid this place till mid Jan 2009 next year. Very dangerous now for FC

Wrong Man..Its th exact opposite. If more people set up shops, this place will attract even more cheongsters. And the one shop that benefits? Its the shop with the best reputation,

If you are too dumb to get it, please refer to the "gifts" shops that move from Bras Basar Complex to Beach Road and now to Middle Road!! Hahahah
