Hi I am planning to go to CP end Aug for about 6 days. Will be going with 1 of the bros from SBF and his friends.

Would like to know the following:

1) How to get to CP from GZ and back
2) How to get to CP from SZ and back
3) Changing money - Change in SG or CP cheaper ? Better to withdraw some from the ATM there?

4) Influenza shots needed for this period ?
5) Travel insurance - Which company is better ?

Yo bro, I will try to answer your queries as follow: -

1) either private arrange car or take train to "Dong Guan" station.
2) same as to the answer of point 1
3) Changing rate is better in SG than in China and, for your case, think exchange $2ksgd should be enough for your trip. Withdraw from ATM, is the last resort unless all your money spend finish. Btw, if need to withdraw from ATM, suggest to use your POSB card.
4) Influenza shot??? I don know cos it all depend on your stamina.
5) Any travel insurance will do which depending on how much you want to be insured.

totally agree with u bro....if take tiger from SIN-SZ u'll reach SZ around 2330....reach CP already like 0030 liao...wasted one nite...

if SIN-GZ u'll reach CP earliest that i tried....1330....more than enough time for food, foot massage b4 heading to ur fav KTVsssssss

U can stay in sanua like huihua or virgin. They let u stay in the sanua room until nx morning after 2330hrs. U can sleep in the sanua room after the sanua left. Like tat u save on one night hotel.

bros may take jetstar to hk and take a transfer direct to cp for rmb200 or take a coach to huanggang (sz) (hkd100) to catch another coach to cp (rmb35)
