Hmmm....my 1st trip was with my NS frds fm 5SIB (lau soldier leow). Took coach 707 fm Golden Mile Complex. Many many yrs back....and the 1st hotel in Hatyai I checked in was PRESIDENT Hotel. Uncle, can tell me or not whether tis hotel still around..?
Yes....the President Hotel is still there, I had stayed there once during a festive session many years back as no more hotels available at that time and it is a long walk from Lee Garden area, Asian Hotel used to be my favourite hotel with lots of young cheongsters.
Last few months back, when I passed by this hotel again and it looks quite new now......it still there!
