They can't click and have been lots of arguement between them and as per usual, PRC guys don't really treat their wife with much care. Furthermore, when she got some problem, the husband ask her to settle it herself which makes her very very sad. This is one of the reason why she come to singapore with her daughter.

Hi Xiamen bros,

I will be making a visit to Fujian on 3 July 2005 and will be paying a two days visit to my relatives in Lam Ann county and after that I will be in Xiamen for 3 to 4 days.

From the postings from various bros, Bei Fang Bing Guan is good budget hotel. Any idea where is the actual location and its telephone number so that I can make the booking from Lam Ann as I suppose the walk-in customer will be charged more.

How about this hotel -- Donghai Hotel Xiamen at http://www.ineedhotel.com/xiamen/donghai/index.html as it is only RMB240 using internet or phone booking

I understand Lujiang Hotel -- somewhere around Lujang Road with very good location but no idea what is the rate and services? Any bros care to furnish some details

The 2 hotels u mentioned are old hotel, old building. I have not stay in them b4. As for Bei Fang hotel, I dun have the number, cos everytime I go, my friend will help me reserve. The walk in rate is abt 260RMB.

Whenever I go to XM I stay in the DH hotel and its not too bad. Its girl friendly and I often head back to the hotel at ungodly hours and they don't mind. Lujiang hotel is about 1 minute walk away from the aforementioned. Both are basically on Zhongshan Rd which is the main shopping area. Kinda far from most nightspots but taking a cab should cost you about 10-15 yuan which isn't too bad. Don't bother staying at LJ hotel as the rates are higher than what you should be paying for.

Any idea what is the telephone number so that I can book the hotel from Lam Ann county? If possible let me have the address.

Actually my cousins (from China) are staying in Xiamen but I don't want to stay at their place although free will restrict my movement as they will surely arrange all my visitings and recreations there. Will pay them a last minute visit before I return back to Singapore

Any suggestion for any 'recreation' in Xiamen?

Although I am not a regular but once in a while especially in overseas I, a normal male do visit such places
