Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Chelski gathered their momentums well from the win against MU,we should accept the defeat with grace because we are Liverpool. At least we managed to end the goal drought at Stamford Bridge under Rafa, from today onwards Bruno Cheyrou will be a forgotten man.

Yes it was a game of fine margins. What might have been if...
But let's take the defeat and move on from here. According to Rafa, Torres was taken off due to a hamstring injury. |

At least we, like what Stevie G said before the match, made the russians fight hard till the end to earn their place in the final. See how gracious our players & fans were in defeat? Really extremely proud of all of them. Looks like i'll be rooting for the russians in moscow. slur whiskey-nose will have his dreams crushed once again...

Think the big ear is what he has been longing for ,he would love to win it again before he retires.
I hope Rafa can win us the league while he is still with the scums,to be the best you have to beat the best. |

Our vice-captain, Carra, gracious in defeat
"Maybe we should have had a penalty on Sami Hyypia but there is no point complaining after the game. It's gone, Chelsea are through and it's their time to enjoy it. We have to accept it and move on." (Source: Liverpoolfc.tv: Official Web Site) You'll Never Walk Alone!

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
the Reds hv a veri gd record in the UCL 4 the last few seasons, tis season is no different.
In the 2007/2008 UCL season,Liverpool managed 2 proceed 2 the last 4. The EPL is sometime that the KOP hv not tasted 4 a long long time. Really hope that the Reds k put up a veri gd showing in the EPL. They must really buck up & give the other title contenders(Chelsea,Manu & Arsenal) a fight till the end. If they thrill the eventual EPL champ 4 less than 10 pts,it would be another giant step 2 challenging 4 the honours in the subsequent seasons. |

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Had a hard time getting over the CL loss...
Nevertheless rebuilding process need to take place in order for the Reds to seriously mount a geninue challenge to the Big 3. Boardroom will have another round of battle for supremacy.... On top of that, Rafa may not be around next season. Let hope all this turmoils will end soon so that they can focus on next season. |

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
bro,yes i would agree with u that "History still with LFC".
but we kannot keep living in the past,we want glory as often as possible. I shld say we demand glory as often as possible. with the boardroom turmoil,i jz hope that it get resolve asap. the 2 americans might not be suitable 2 own the Reds. Maybe with DIC onboard, more funds could be made available. In turn more good signings(like torres) are made, esp in the defenders. |

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
English Premier League Title, this should be the focus and priority for Reds, next season.
We have not win it since it was incorporated or changed. Kop has been waiting for very long liao,so i think next season,we should concentrate on EPL but at the same time,go as fas as we can in the CL (coz here is also where the revenue is)

Re: Liverpool Fc Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
As reported in the soccernet website, Villa boss Martin O'Neill has confirmed he has received an offer from Liverpool for current Villa skipper Gareth Barry.
He insisted that the Reds have made a player exchange offer for 27-year-old Barry, who has 2 yrs left of his currrent contract. Martin was understood to be interested in bringing Liverpool striker Peter Crouch back to Villa Park. If a cash-plus-players deal materialises,Scott Carson & John Arne Riise could also come into the equation. |
