Bro PTR,

Hope you feel better soon with the F-15....think Singapore airforce currently using them.

Rafale is a good fighter jet, better than the aging F-16....but my all time favourite is still the F-14 Tomcat.

Bro PTR, I love aeroplanes very much too. I am old roi, my aeroplane can fly long distance but cannot fight anymore. Can fly far but cannot fly fast. Can shoot like a pistol but no longer a machine gun..

Yes, F-14 is a good aircraft with swing-wings, it is still the best after the F-111. The Tomcat is best for Carrier Based Operations, and it is also too big for Singapore, in addition to its old age. There is an old problem with the stability of F-14. When it goes into a Spiral mode for whatever reason, the spine is usually unrecoverable (You can see it in the show Top Gun). I also feel that F-15 is huge for our need. Rafale is a good fighter, the French makes good fighters as well, such as the Mirage series.

Better stop here or I would be flamed for turing this cheonging thread to one about 飞机。哈哈

Singapore is using F-15??? I thought is F-16... Seems like u are more updated than me about Singapore arm forces.

Young man,

You eyes are blocked by so many SYTs. You do not even know the fighters that our country has. We now have F-16 and F-15 as fighters lah. They are on display during the MINDEF open-days lah!
