Sorry for reviving old thread.

Aiming to update with latest tactics so that bros here don't get scammed.



As always, best way not to get scammed is to use your big head not small head. If deal is too good to be true, then it is fake.

there is a scam in michat too, saying she is a very rich mature lady who like to help people who is in financially trouble especially in this covid time.She said she from European country and a very successful business woman, making big money and her photo shown she has big boobs too, driving big luxury car and having expensive dine in restaurant....posting picture of bros receiving money from her thru bank transfer ranging from $1k to 5k but bros who needs her help must first buy iTunes gift card first......$100, does it sound fishy.....to help people needs to buy itune gifts first before can perform transferring of the money....i didn't see any logic for this request.

Jan 2022 Update:

HK Pump and Dump
This scam is quite old but still happening.
These girls would befriend you on Line, wechat etc. and play the long game at first. The would have multiple pictures and some wechat stories to make their profile look legit.
After getting to know you and lowering your guard, they would ask if you do stock trading. Then they intro some stock that they are 'earning' from.
Usually these are HK penny stocks. They will ask you to execute a trade of certain amount of units/lots at certain time. Telling you that it would rise.

Basically you become part of a pump and dump scheme, multiple parties pumping the stock and the scammer would then sell a huge amount.
First 1 or 2 times you might get lucky and earn, but after gaining your trust, your big trade execution would lead to big losses.

Bank phishing/scam

This is more of a PSA for everyone who should already know by now. Scammers are spoofing bank telephone numbers/sender ID to get you to click on their link which leads to a clone of the bank website. Making you login.

Sugarbaby/sugarmommy fake ads

On sites like SB/SA/telegram, profiles would have a chio lady pic with their contact details. Upon contacting them, they would ask you for a deposit to either engage them as sugar baby or signing up services to help match a sugar mommy to you. After receiving the money, they would ghost you or delete the telegram chat.

they will give you doctored bet slips to show how confidence are they. Their supporters in the Facebook are all fake as well. Even the cheque from spools might be doctored. Spools have their own AI to check on all the betting. Bets will drop if one punters bet on the max amount. Something like 4D hot numbers.

They are keen to get you sign up as VIP members and after that ghost you.
