Opposite Plasa Nagoya hotel row of money changers at 9300/SGD. Harbour Bay at 9350/SGD (1st quote 9300/SGD). Yesterday my friend arriving at Harbour Bay also change at 9350/SGD too. So what i am saying is,Harbour Bay money changer gives better rate yesterday and today. It could be due to competition as practically all money changers at Harbour Bay were opened for business. But not all shops within Nagoya area (opposite Plasa Nagoya and Formosa) were opened.

The trick is,go for those highly competitive area to change money if the amount i wish to change is big,hehehe...

Gold Bird also no longer plays the 'double the price' game in this CNY...interesting. Some New berry girls switched side to Gold bird too,hehehe...even more interesting.

A handful of ex New Berry girls who were at Permata Indah will have their contract ending around 5th to 8th Feb...many will be leaving for good.

New girls will be imported in to Batam towards end of Feb 2017 or somewhere beginning of March.

Chk the only shop that opend on that hour.
Rate was open at 9300 n 9320 for> $500
I think more or less the CNY rate was depleting.
Forgot to check at SKP as the Shop is at the arrival end.
With the XE Rate @ 9450+-..
I think should be able to get >9350+-Non CNY rate.

Yea...for me,the normal rate is always, XE or Yahoo finance rate,then minus 20 to 30. Example let's say its 9500 at yahoo like the below (as of 1040am SG time today) ,I will be expecting about 9470/SGD plus minus.

Long time didn't visit Batam and all of a sudden pay a visit there,almost sure to overspent since your visit was in one of Batam's most peaked season of the year. Its afterall CNY...right?

1. Exchange rates were having a super downtime

2. Girls were so overly-fed and weren't hungry enough to serve

3. Competition from Sillypore's foreign workers who are so desperately wanting to splurge w/o using some minimum intelligence.

4. More unhappy girls due to 1 Sillyporean/Malaysian versus 9 FWs scenario.

5. OKT knives were sharpened to its sharpest, so sharp that when a piece of silk falls on its cutting edge,it auto gets cut into 2 pieces... some even use a chainsaw...hehehe...

6. Ferry prices up

I visit before but never dare to test the doctor's skills (an indo Chinese Doctor with qualified certification for dental <I checked as they was hung in the wall> but dress like some ah beng in slippers,hehehe..). As for my purpose of visit, its stated on the link above...hehehe...hope that helps.

I went to Doctor Irene & Doctor Gloria at Awal Bros before.

Doctor Gloria: stern, go by the book, did a quick blood test for me and refuse further treatment due to blood sugar high

Doctor Irene: chatty, did a tooth extraction for me

But, these took place 4-5 years ago.
