need some advice, i'll be reaching GZ at about 2am+ on my way to CP, what would be the best choice for rest for that night?
1. find a spa to sleep overnight in GZ (not sure which spa)
2. take train/car to CP and rest in spa (think spa is closed by then?)
I just came back from GZ. I took Jetstar frm S-GZ reach there clear custom already 1am. I manage took a Airport Express Bus service frm BAIYUN to GZ CITY, only 1 bus travel during this time to city, and it operates till the late flight schedule. The bus travel to GZ train station, it cost ¥17. I took a cab ¥25 stayed some local HTL, only ¥90 (booked before going, informed the counter of reaching time. Usually after Midnite, they charge whole nite rate & request pay advance. I hv a friend there whom help me paid (only ¥90 with ¥100 deposit).
No doubt may not b appropriate for those whom do not hv close friend in GZ, but this is a suggested method of saving. U can however, instead of stay GZ HTL, stay in a SPA, which shld btwn ¥150-¥300 instead
If u prefer HTL, u can also drop by any those local HTL to ask. Usually they ar cheap ¥70 -¥150

Why are you reaching GZ at that hour ? Save a little on Tix ? How much can you save ? SQ have many flight which land in GZ in the day , save that $100-$200 on air tix but have to torture yourself traveling and sleeping in spa / suana / budget hotel . And eventually that $200 landed in those WL pocket. Btw Tiger have a morning flight to GZ , right ?
Advise , take the next morning SQ flight , think is $448 only , have a good and relax flight there , book a pte car to cp or take train , can start ctcing your regular ect on you way to cp ......

by the time you reach cp, it should be around 4am or so.
personally i got no kangtao in GZ. so i will take a car and straight to silvery spa, the only spa that operates past 2am or rather 24hrs in cp ( either i dunno the rest )
there u can get a rest in the sleeping room, get a massage or watever.
wake up in the morning check in your hotel, you can try to arrange your hotel to let u check in earlier,
did my booking and the manager of the hotel i stayed lets me check in at 6am earliest.

u can go to 大浪淘沙 a spa in GZ that's similar to silver holiday spa in cp ...
