If that is the bueget provided by the company, you can actually stay in a bungalow. Again that is up to your preference. As bro shanghian as mentioned, the best way would be buying an apartment here. You can seek his advise on this matter.
Driver is not so difficult to find, whereas maid would be a problem. Maid over here are extremely difference from sgp. Too long to describe over here.
It is not abt flaunting wealth here lah, you merely stating the fact. But do be careful, as you never know what will happen...
Shanghai is not that dangerous, as long as we are not asking for it.

You need a one day tour in Shanghai? Well, since you will be staying around Xujiahui area, there is this 上海旅游集散中心 just within the Stadium that you can bring your mm to tour around Shanghai or places around Shanghai such as 周庄、同里 and etc.
