i will be at GZ on the 9 to 12 June 2010 staying at Jianguo Hotel for the exhibition at Pazhou Complex.

Anyone can help to introduce me to the FL/KTV scene there in GZ as i am very new there. Any contacts or places to visit?
I used to go CP for the fun but this time only going GZ.

Holiday Inn Sifu is a very good hotel -reasonable price, big clean n nicely decor room. Very centrally located for makan n shop.

Chiong place ? GZ is not good for that.

If u really want, go to a ktv. Many of them around at different class n budget.

China is still officially a communist country. No legal social escort agencies are allow to operate. Every sex related transaction has to be "underground". If u find one website on that be prepared to pay a huge premium and be chopped

Best option is go to a ktv or try yr luck at pick ups fm the pubs.

Otherwise, head to dongguang for the fun.

GZ is good for shopping ... it's crazy at the wholesale area and u dun believe the price u'll be getting ...

i always stayed in Holiday Inn Sifu whenever i am in GZ ...
it's a comfortable, safe, clean and spacious ...
roof-top swimming pool, gym, free internet (upgrade rm only) etc etc ..
located along 上下九路 ....which is the 步行街 .. a shopping road with many shops, restaurants and eateries stalls ..

Thx Bro. Travelcraze. I read about a Shi Chang Hotel in Pang Yu that is basically a one-stop complex for fun in this thread and that Pang Yu is about 15 km from GZO and is connected by MRT. Do you have any advice for going there to have some fun.

U shld go to Panyu ChimeLong ..... it's a big amusement park like Disneyland ...
and if u stay in chimelong hotel ... u can watch white tigers roaming ard while having breakfast ...

i am not too familiar with GZ .... but to my understanding, GZ is not a good place to cheong ...
GZ is famous for shopping at the wholesale area ...
the prices u get over there in unbelievable low ...

i went to Panyu becoz of the 长隆旅游度假区 （ChimeLong Resort) ....

if u like SPA ... i suggest this place to go ...
大浪淘沙 located along 华明路 。。opposite 南方日报 。。
it's a very huge place with SPA facilities .. a great place to relax ..

Shichang Hotel used to have a quite happening KTV and sauna centre but it has since been converted to a K-Box style KTV.

This is just for info only if you do go Panyu again.

Shichang Hotel - 世昌酒店 - used to have a quite happening KTV which has since closed and been converted into a family style K-Box type KTV. Believe that the hotel may also have been shut down.

KTVs in Panyu which you can try are:
- Royal Marina Hotel
- Ginza Hotel
- Yin Hui 银辉

The taxi driver told me there is a 四昌酒店 though. Seems to be the same pinyin.

Can any kind bro clarify Shi Chang hotel actual chinese name?
