Hmmm.... So quiet on this thread; may as well post the following.

I guess it's now pretty well established that applying for an APEC card is quite a harmless, straightforward and easy process.

Apart from hopefully some well-meaning but nonetheless totally clueless armchair pundits and conspiracy theorists, there is for sure no fall-outs or other dire consequences for applicants from Singapore, Malaysia and Hong Kong. Not sure for citizens from other countries but I cannot imagine where the process and results would differ much for these places.

Yup. lack of activity on this thread really shows that CP is non existent as far as "FUN" is concerned. Strange thing is the managers via Wechat are spamming their girls every day... " new arrivals, etc, ex SN etc"

That's the usual problem in China with doing a favor by patronizing a certain supplier, factory or .... A mommy!

They always start to think that they are invaluable to us, that their goods/service is so superior that we cannot get another provider etc. Not only do they then take us for granted, their goods/services deteriorates and they would even dare to demand favors - as if it's their right to do so/deserves it.

i guess with the launch of iphone 6 this weekend in hong kong
many wls in shenzhen will pester their hong kong sugar daddies to buy one to prove their"'love"' for their kept women across the border in shenzhen

i expect there will be increase in smuggling activity along the hong kong-shenzhen boder as the iphone 6 is not yet launched in mainland china

quite difficult for british passport holders to apply for the apec card
as britain is not a member of APEC

It's not a problem for Hong Kong permanent residents British and other nations' citizens; APEC card applications are made to the Hong Kong immigration department who handles it in accordance with Hong Kong's desire to facilitate all our (expatriate as well as SAR passport holders) businessmen.

I'd imagine it would work the same way for foreign nationals permanently residing and working in any APEC country; cannot think of a reason why not.

So what the big deal or fuss on apec travel only some little benefits maybe only some passport holders may find them useful as their passport must apply visas prior to travel...

Besides smuggling of iPhone 6, pickpocket are on the prowl for iPhone 6 too.

iPhone 6 Is HOT, more HOTTER then the mei mei themself.

So any bros holding IPhone 6 while in DG, just be careful when you try to impress your MEI MEI and using it in public.

I m under impression u avidly promotion APEC card so many posts saying same things over and over in several posts i thought ur message was loud and clear enough didn't expect same posts on APEC lol is like those billboards flashing how do u expect me to ignore ... I always get this frustrations see same advertisements running longer than the same drama duration on tv ... Some products over advertised consumers dun buy almost like backfired .. Good products do not need to be over advertised .. Just my opinion u dun need agree I'm quite democratic always accept facts people can disagree with me ... I'm not picking on you Seaj...
