So now my friends have more than 8,000 boxes of canned food, bottled water, dried rations, blankets, medicine and clothes lying in the warehouse. Fortunately the USN has agreed to accept those to add to their relief efforts.

In these desperate times for the victims there..... any form of assistance is crucial to them but this CCB Pinoy official is only interested in how he can take advantage of the situation....... KNNCCB

my gf tell me that the government are asking the peoples to pay taxes and they even swap the oversea relief supplies to their local supplies..

And the western union in singapore are waving off the charges for remittance but the wu in ph still absorbing the charges for money pick up..

our Manila office staff were all busy packing and when I asked palcing what ? they went, "we were asked to check for perishables and items not conducive in disaster area .. "

I didn't dare to ask if anybody donated vegetables or frozen food .. other than those, anything wouldn't perish if they ship it direct, instead of stock piling somewhere..

don't think its fair saying all Pinoys are cheats. Most politicians , especially in the under developed countries are the real crooks. If you were to bring the donations of canned foods , bottle water etc direct to the streets , I am sure the affected people will be so greatful. Same same all over the world.
