Was stuck to the same spot for more than 15 minutes without slight movements. Was informed by tour leader that he will proceed to send us for dinner before proceed back to hotel. Bloody hell!!!! Had just gotten my lunch at 2+ and have not even got it digested and we were send to another crappy Chinese restaurant to enjoy the worst deep fried fish I had ever tried. The fish resembles nothing I had seen before and the taste….it’s just like solid rock. Totally terrible.

Was hoping to be sent back to the hotel after just for 3-4 hours sleep for the pass 48 hours but to my amazement….NO…here’s wat my limited company tour leader says in English….yuo njoiyudiner????nowIassdribertosandyuotopatpongnite marletwanonot??? (translations: you all enjoy dinner???now I ask my driver to send you all to patpong nite market, wan o not???). Before we even answer, off we go.

Not really tat enjoyable even though we were informed that there are some ‘tiger shows’ along the patpong nite market. After one whole bladdy day, without enuf sleep and stopless sweating sessions, I made a brave decision to end my trip for the nite back to the hotel. Upon hearing my comments, my colleagues indefinitely raised up their hands to join me. Ended up, taking another bloody half an hour to wait for everyone to get into their respective taxis before I got mine.

Reach hotel at 10.30 pm and was greeted by my colleagues…wat welcoming salutes I say to myself….but NO!…..they have something else in mine…..ask me to bladdy talk to the taxi driver for directions to eat durians…..what the fu#$!!!!!! Do I look like a bloody tour leader who can speak thais….bloody hell….managed to get the directions and was asked to be brought to the destinations……shit!!!!!! at the end, managed to get durians for these ‘hungry durian ghosts’ and in return, I had my supper for the nite….which was fairly acceptable….

Got back to hotel room at around 1.30 am and gave N a call, which she mentioned had just gone back home from World Trade Center. Too tired to have any actions for the nite so told her tat I will call her again tomolo. Had a quick shower and doze off on my comfy bed in less than 1 minute.

Day 3

A more relaxed day as I was been told and we were awoke at 7.30 am for another round of buffet breakfast. But this time, the food seems to be getting better. In fact, I ate quite a mouthful for breakfast on that day.

Was ordered to wait at the lobby lounge at 9.30 am for gathering to proceed to our next destination, Chatucak Sunday Market. Took a walk to the nearby Ratchadewi BTS station. Went off by train to Mo Chit station which took just 6-8 minutes. At 10.10 am, we reach Chatuchak, which btw, will haunt my life forever. Try imagine a market which is of the size of 3-4 or even more soccer field. It’s just scary. Will not go into details of my experience there but definitely got lots and lots of bargains from there. Well worth the journey although every part of me is aching and sweating.

Decided to take a cab back to hotel but to no bloody availability. They are just not willing to take us. So have no bloody choice but to take the BTS again. Try imagine after walking for 6 hours straight and you are to take another gruesome 3-4 stories high of staircase and walk of another 20 minutes with the shopping goodies you have just got….it’s just bloody torturing!!!

Finally, arrive hotel at around 4.45 pm and went straight for the shower. Rested for a while and was to assemble again in the lobby at 6 pm for dinner. Went off to another chinese restaurant, in which I have to say that the fish tasted the same but slightly not as hard as the nite before. Oh well, maybe tat’s how thais enjoy their fishes.

After dinner, our group was splited into two; one group was arranged to go for a Tiffany show or as the tour leader says it ‘Aqua Show’; the other group, in which I am in went for a traditional thai massage, which cost 400 baht for 2 hours. The massage was totally exceptional. After a torturing day in Chatuchak market, I definitely needed a massage and every baht was well worth it. I would even pay another 400baht just for tips alone, in which I actually pay 200baht.

After the most relaxed 2 hours massage, my aching muscles actually felt in pretty good shape, except for some soaring feets. It’s amazing wat some traditional thai massage can do for u. I then hail a cab back to the hotel, which it only took 15 minutes of walking time but nevertheless, wanna conserve some energy for the nite.

Reach hotel room at 10.15 am and went straight for shower. After shower, call N for a quick chit-chat to see if she is free for a quick meet-up (no hanky panky intended). Had a wonderful chat with her and was told tat she was in the middle of her presentation thingy for tomolo at school (kinda forget the name of the school, she told me something like university st. james something something, or I might be wrong). She later also keep telling me tat she wan to tell me something but somehow I brought some issue up. At last, I gave her the chance to speak. She told me tat she her ‘auntie’ was visiting (called “PERIOD”). Hahaha. I was totally shock or maybe I have not made myself clear from the start. Inform her is alrite as kinda have a long day from the scary Chatuchak as well. She also ask if I wanna have some time with her cousin, A. I told her tat is alrite as I was looking forward for a little chat with her. She gave me a childish giggle over the phone and our conversation lasted for another 5 minutes. Told her that I will call her again tomolo. Kinda regretted not taking A after reading u guys posting actually. Made myself a promise tat will try A as well next trip.

At 11 pm. Heard a knock on my door. Open up. My senior asking me to accompany him for a ‘little walk’. Little did I knew tat we are actually taking a trip back to the place where we had our thai massage just now. Therefore, I knew that the walking distance is only about 15 minutes away. Had enjoyed some of the delicacies along the way, including sausages, prawns, squids and insects as well. Haha. The insects actually tastes very crunchy and just a slight pinch aftertaste bitterness. My senior had a fright when he saw me put these so called ‘shits’ inside my mouth. Haha.

Reach hotel at around 12.30 am and rested for the whole nite.
