After the sunset, I walked with her to Jewel box. I thought of treating her dinner there. But when she looked at the menu, price is 1 problem, the language is another.
As she's not educated, she don't understand English well and she don't know whether the food suits her. So instead we took a cab to Harbourfront centre for dinner. (Vivo was still under renovation.)

At dinner, I didn't continue the conversations at Mt Faber but we did chat about our work and the problems we faced. Somehow we are both in the service line.
I'm a tour guide and a designer at the same time so we face customers nearly everyday. Somehow we do have common things to share and talk.

After dinner, ard 9pm already. I suggested to go back but she ask me whether I can accompany her for a while more? As she go back, she got nothing to do except sleep.
I asked her what she wanted to do? She say can walk the shopping mall for a while? She want to window shop and "absorb" some aircon. I say ok.

So about 9.45pm, the shops all start to close. We also left the place and headed home. She asked me whether I free to chat with her over the phone later? She say she go back, practically just go to her room and sleep. Her room mate works night shift.
I told her to try calling, if I never pick up means I sleep already as the next day got to pick up a tour group from airport.

From my memory, I did fell asleep. So did not talk to her.



In conclusion, she just owned up and tell me she actually have thoughts to marry a Singaporean and lead a better life here in S'pore.
But for now, paying up her debts is 1st priority. Other than that, nothing much yet.

A few days later, after I sent back the tour group back to the airport, my back and shoulder was aching as the group was their 1st time in S'pore and they bought tons of things.
As a male tour guide, I need to help them carry their luggage (especially the elderly). That somehow injured my shoulders and back.

So at 1st thought, XIAO LI..
Gave her a call when I was on the way home to bathe. Booked a timing and went there for a massage.

She was alone in the shop as the lady boss went to accompany her daughter to go for don't know what school event. Xiao Li said since nobody and she no customers, she massage me for 1hr 30mins but charge me 1hr.
I was like stunned she did such a thing. But she said if boss suddenly come back, sorry. Better charge 1hr 30mins.

So towards the end, boss never come back, she just accepted my $40 and she reported 1hr in the book. Then she asked me am I free to stay behind to keep her company.
I agreed since I really nothing to do. All I want is just rest time. So I sat on the sofa and chat with her.

She then suddenly asked me something.. "you're single but how come you never asked me to HJ you before (except for the time I offered you)? Most guys will want me to HJ for them but I in the end reject them.

I'm just asking but I every time want to ask you but don't dare to ask. I curious as sometimes I massage your thighs, I can see a bulge. You go find prostitute is it?"

I said, "no lah. I where got time find those stuff. My schedule so packed that when I have time, all I do is REST or SLEEP. Tour guide sometimes reach home 11+pm then have to be at hotel by 8am.

Furthermore, I know you never do that's why I never ask mah. Of course sometimes I D.I.Y at home lah."

Then she joked, "no wonder. i thought your mind so pure that girls you also not interested. if i don't know you well, I thought you have some health problems that why avoid all these.

Eh. You need you let me know lah. I see if convenient, I help you HJ in private. Of course not in shop. You different from others. Other customers all ask me to do for them but for you, is I offer de leh.

I smiled and say, "ok. next time bah." (At that time, I only thought she was just joking and saying just for the fun of it to tease me.)

Anyway, time flies. It was about 5pm or so. Then got 1 aunty want to do foot reflexology. I was about to leave then I ask her how she settle her dinner. She say if I free, she can meet me for dinner later (if I'm not asleep). She ask me later if I never sleep then call her.

So I said goodbye to her and went home to rest.


In conclusion, this time nothing much about her or anything about us. She just showed her "boldness" and "open-minded thoughts" to me.
It also seems like we're are close friends at this stage.

I fast forward a little.. 1 week later, Xiao Li said she needs to go MOM at tanjong pagar there to settle some things. This is due to a new rule kicking in. She asked me am I free to go with her as she's not familiar with the place.
For that, her boss gave her the morning off from her work. The boss also want to ask someone to do some patching work for the wall.

So I agreed and say aft you settle, we can eat the famous ah hua bak kut teh at the PSA there, where the MOM's office is also located.
We went there around 9am so not to rush with the construction workers who queued up at 7.30am. Things settled by 9.30am. But that time too early for bak kut teh, so I suggested we go Chinatown walk around and have early lunch. She's ok with it.

As we take the bus to Chinatown, she asked me something.. "so you need my help to relieve yourself? Come on lah, I know you're a normal guy but don't dare to ask for such service. Since now we so close, I help you lor."

I was stunned and said, "you wasn't joking arh? Wah! You treating me so special, I feel paiseh leh. But I remembered your conditions. Er, not today lah. Maybe some other days." (I tried to brush it off as I think she needs a favour of me in return, soon.)

She smiled and me and said, "ok, no problem. Up to you."

So we had a quick lunch and headed back to the shop. After that, I chat with her boss and left the shop as I need to meet a client an hr later.
