If this prc is coming to singapore for the first time ，the ICA will normally approved her application with the help of a singaporean guarantor。The application fee is only $30。U need to get her a two way ticket in order for her to come in。In the event that she is caught working illegally，the ICA will fined u $1000 and you may be blacklisted

I too strongly object to TS being a guarantor. Nothing is gonna come out good. Look at all the tua yi long that requires a guarantor. The guarantor is never spared when the debtor runs away!
Is TS gonna be a nanny or babysitter to the PRC sister so that he's ass will not be fried 1 day?

In essence, you as a "Guarantor" or "Sponsor" must provide a guarantee that your visitor will leave Singapore before the visa expires and your "simple and not so simple" obligations are that you should be confident that the applicant intend to abide by her visa conditions and you must, to the best of your ability:

3) States ways in which liabilities of this "Gurarantor or Sponsor" arrangement are to be shared between you and your close PRC friend in writing (if possible). You must make clear to her that it's not so simple as covering $1,000 and pat-pat backside and walk away if her "sister" M.I.A. You must make it clear that you will drag her down too if her "sister" caused any trouble

IMHO, it is better to reject cos you are sponsoring a COMPLETE STRANGER and I hope it will not be "very hard" (pun intended) to say: "NO" .......but then again, ultimately it's still your decision. Good luck!

My friend has been a gurarantor for 3 malaysian workers for his cleaning company. One of them run away from work, my friend need to paid S$5000 as a fine and constantly summon to court whenever some stray malaysians them were been caught. Just to let you know, your family might also be involve or know about this if things go wrong.

If you become guarantor out of goodwill or some friendship thing then don't do it.. of cos there are complications involved, infact if anything happen to her you may find yourself in court explaining yourself and a top class lawyer to defend.

I already guarantor for a few liao but is only out of business to business B2B relations to make sure the processings to be legal and according to singapore immigration guidelines.

prepared to go for short "holiday"....

self apply is about $20-30 per apply..
but if a agent to do it will cost about 800-1000 for 63 days for PRC?

But... one ger i hear of got reject of extendion when her 28days is up...
so 63 days is not gurantee wor.....

ask her pay $$$ for others to apply for her..
there are many pple or agent doing this biz.. give them the biz and save urself from trouble,....

Well bro... as a guarantor... u will lose the deposit if she overstay or disappear. If she is caught working as a pros, the police will summon u up for investigation. If u are not her pimp or not receiving any favours from her, then u are safe. But if u are getting sexual service from her in return for being her guarantor, then the police can charge u.
