By right u do a pcr 24 hrs before depart sg, stay 2 night in Vietnam. And the depart back to sg is within the 72 hrs of your sg test. Pcr should be valid. Hahha. But will the agent accept?

*** remotely supervised by an ART provider in Singapore providing such services taken within 2 days before departure for Singapore *** anyway. This service not valid for vn. cannot do a remote n show vn agent at counter to fly bck.

Its always best to err on the side of caution i.e. kiasee a bit sama sama I will also do another notorised test in Wetnam (cert in english) before coming back as no point to save on this small sum and then end up kena turn away during boarding

i second that. can't expect Viet side to read into the finer details of the validity. counter probably only has the mindset that your test is not done locally.

still waiting for company policy to reflect government updates before i can fly to VN.

for the return leg is accepted for ART within 72h under ICA regulations.
But ICA being in sg..... HCM airport being in vn....
I dont expect them to be well communicated to other country's airports. So will do 1 in vn and use as backup, just in case.

Ica actually say 2 days before departure for Singapore. . . So might not work.

I can't recall sg custom check my test when I landed in sg last month.

Think the test cert is just formality to get Yr boarding pass. Likely the agent will just let u board even if the cert is all in viet. . . Afterall u Singaporean, no denial entry. . Hahaha

As long as I get to board and land back in Sinkie I am not too worried whether at Sinkie custom they check or not as the most now is isolate at home (touch wood) its only the "get to board" part over at Wetnam I am worried about

if anyone staying near Q8 wants to do pre-departure PCR test in HCM, you can go HCMC Center for Disease Control (HCDC) 61 Âu Dương Lân, Phường 3, Quận 8, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, Vietnam.

Ready in 24 hours and cost 502,000VND. Although you may need to speak some vietnamese to understand them - google translate helps. After payment bring the orange payment slip back to Room 11 to collect your test result.

I came back 25 March and airport counter will still check for PCR regardless of your singapore citizenship before they let you proceed. Maybe there will be changes in the near future for the standardized ART test.

This is a post for Singapore bros going to HCM. Some of my friends went to this Korean KTV joint in District 3. Their experience was worse than negative. It was basically a garbage joint. Ultra expensive alcohol, more than half of girls that don't tabao, siting fee mm initially say 500k tip per cai then switch to 1mil and insert into bill. 3 pax can chiong until 17mil Vnd i.e. 1k SGD. When the mm Kelly was questioned, she scold and insult customer. Bros be careful when u in HCM, check your bill and reject this kind of joint.
