Den I share 1 more here. I went back Sihanoukville for a few days. My friends bring me to a place called ESMI club. He say have many girls there. So I go. This place is a typical China style disco. 1 DJ spin damn loud songs. Cannot talk at all. Mostly use sign language to communicate. I not really into 我们不一样 Techno version, so I dont really like. When I look around, I see many Chinese people. I think all rich people. Table always have whiskey. Anyway, I dont care la. I sit my own table place dice. Anyway, I went there 2x. 1st time I went my friends paid. So they open 2 bottles for USD 300. Hennessy. Have peanut and fruits all included. When I ask, they tell me this is the min charge to sit sofa. But 2nd time I went with another group, and since I am the one paying, I order beer for USD 138. 2 boxes. 48 cans, I also sit sofa. Also have fruits and peanuts. So I think 1st time I go, my friends kenna chop. Or maybe they dont drink beer. Anyway, I am cheapo, so i order beer. The mummy say beer can keep if cannot finish. I think reasonable. Here the girls start to come in after 11. KNN. 2nd time I bring friends there at 10 pm, sit there sausage party. Nothing to see, play dice with sausages. Wait and wait until 1100 - 1130 den girls start to come. Here have Thai, Viet and Locals. I always call Thais. Thais sit with you is USD 100. Until you leave. So its not per hr charge. If you want to take back, its USD 350. I heard is 1 shot because my friend take back is 1 shot. Locals is USD 50 to sit. Go back I dunno. Viet girls, I lagi dunno. I never had a good experience with Viets so I never call before. My friends also never call Viets. Sorry! For bros that know about KPS, I know some of the Thai girls that work in KTVs last time now come here and work. Maybe you can see some familiar faces here. Haha. |

Very accurate observation. They will not change as they have tasted blood already. Foreign aid & investment have spike up the country on steriod, everybody want quick money. Their Govt leads the way first by issue 100+ casino license, attracts hot money, international criminal to spoil them completely. Fake NGO scams, bluff foreign donation. Their people are not up to working standard, yet asking big salary just because they know abit of English or Chinese, not willing to learn new skill & always claim this is cambodia way. Foreign Business owner spend money but cant get the right people to work for them. Their local people dont wants hard work, they rather sell their land than to farm on it. Yes this pandemic have crash their country

Am thinking to go around Jan where everyone started working again, the crowd volume is low, the first wave already went and more clear on procedures and etc. Hopefully by then is even looser in terms of measures and cheaper testing and etc. Anyone thinking of going too? |

Re: Cambodia Phnom Penh Nightlife Discussion
I have just confirmed with a girl I know last time during my last trip to Cambodia that the people there are excited about the opening. Many businesses have failed there and some KTVs are still operating not all but at least got some.
I think once open they will open more. Bros if you all go over, don't just anyhow splurge cause all ur money like stuck in sg cannot use for 2 years. Follow market rate and maybe u might even get cheaper rates as they really in bad shape now. Time for exploitation. |

Re: Cambodia Phnom Penh Nightlife Discussion
I think Cambodia/JB/Indonesia is the most possible place to go. Thai, I'm not a fan of it, and the Philippines like opening up too. F the omicron. I hope it is just a scare only.

So you mean that i've to change SGD to USD first and change to their currency at money changer there ? Is Cambodia dangerous ? I heard that everyone there carry gun, taxi drivers rob tourists at gun point, is it true ? Is US$3000 enough for staying for a week there ?

Re: Cambodia Phnom Penh Nightlife Discussion
U don't have to change ur USD to the local currency, USD r use and ask for , but try to bring along small note in USD, note like 100 alway got problem breaking down, especially with small biz deal. And when u change fm our local currency to USD make sure u check 1 by 1,there r many counterfeit with USD 100 and 50 notes. Even u change in the bank over there, they will issue u with counterfeit note, got cheated once by the bank over there. And try to spend away all the local currency 1st, don't bring back.

Re: Cambodia Phnom Penh Nightlife Discussion
Yes Cambodian trafic is dangerous. Most of drivers do not have clue how to drive car and they are drunk in evening. 25 years ago many people carried gun. Now almost only police and army persons. Taxi drivers do not robber by gun point, but they want take you Killing Fields and charge 50 usd. 3000 usd per week including hotel depends your style. If you like 5 star hotel, Chinese KTV girls and Cognac it is not enough.
