22yo and serving NS? hmmm...u may need to get an exit permit to leave Sillypore while u r serving NS..do u think u can get the permit required for u to leave sillypore?

I remembered my NS days i had problems to get an exit permit when i wanted to go for a year end trip to Bangkok.

Anyway theres plenty of experienced Indon chionging bros who go there monthly. U may be able to get someone to bring you over if you can get your permit from MINDEF.

Well Balai isnt such a bad place to go alone. I remembered i used to go on my own too every weekend when i had my cewek there about 4 years back. Its only the 1.5-2 hours ferry trip thats the hard thing to put up with imo.

Of course having a regular taxi to pick u at the perlabuhan will make things easier and the touts wont hassle u s much

I have heard of this somewhere in the news i believe but didnt know its so nearby to us as btm.

Last time I went Batam was 8 years back. So now I have lost track , anyone still know this Monica or Regina, she still around? Planning to go today or tomorrow since wife's not around til Friday if not no chance..:P

now the passport chop to 10 yrs advance liao, exit permit just fill the online form state u leaving which coutnry how many days.

No more troubles.

Wa seems like everything can be done online now

Ya its been 14yrs since i completed my NS so really abit out of touch.

Remember those days want to go bangkok must get exit permit and still not confirm sure can get approval.

Really troublesome.

Sorry, but our country is spelled and pronounced as SINGAPORE.
