You can still have fun with life and keeping in shape at the same time, just have to strike a balance between both....I do the non-healthy diet and boozing mostly only on the weekend but I make sure I get lots of sleep daily and exercise six times a week.....now starts taking whey protein cos body is lacking of it for my activities......and the micro nutrition calculation thing is such a pain.....can't be bother to go so detail.

In singapore no.. In oz.. i can think of a million ways to keep fit and earn a decent living..

In oz i can always bike to work, work out at the gym after work and bike home.
Hell, I'll even build a home gym with all my toys in my garage..

Get good food and nutrition from fresh produce from woolies for cheap.
Cook my own food and bring it when i leave the house.

Weekends can be just at the beach surfing and playing footie with the guys.
The daily grind here is disgusting..work work work to pay for higher insurance premiums because you are getting squeezed by the cost of living.

Now if i can pass my ippt and not look fat, i'm good.
My cardio has been reduce to 1 interval a week and 2 days of hard dancing on weekends.

Doesn't seem that way.

I believe that after every exercise or workout (not ur 10 minute simple workout. I mean real workouts). Your metabolism rate will definitely be over the edges and it will take time near 48 hours to recuperate it.
That's when ur body goes into a oxygen deficit and ur EPOC (excess post-exercise oxygen consumption) comes into play to restore ur body into the resting state. At which there will be hormonal balancing and ur metabolism rate is some what kept high in general if u actually engage in non-exercise physical activities like walking, carrying stuff, having sex, wanking off (that should catch ur attention), and coupled with some more workouts on a constant basis. U should be able to burn more calories from ur fat store that is if u don't consume more calories than u eat. Discipline plays a large part at this. Procrastinating fans, u need that someone to psyche u hard enough and maintain the attitude to carry on.

So losing sex drive? Who said its true? Lol.

you get what 15% extra burn ontop of your intervals? shit, thats like what 200 cals + 30 cals more? .. why not just reduce your caloric intake by 200 by not eating that sneakers bar..

it'll be far more effective.. you still have to take into account CNS fatigue from all those hard training.. no pro athlete does stuff like tabata more than 2 times a week.

I've tried mate, 4 weeks i'm fried.. didn't want to work out for 2 months.
When I went back packer for 2 weeks in OZ with my 8kg backpack on my back and my 5kg on my front.
I was averaging about 20km a day on foot..
After my adrenaline rush and excitement.. I was having problems sleeping.

For me I just use what I need and KISS philosophy - keep it simple silly.
I've tried reducing my cal intake to 1200 cal, and i need about 3000 cals a day, once when i was dieting for 1 week to extreme starvation, when i saw, smelled and thought about food I just stopped and stare.
Woke up frequently in the night thinking about food, sex was the least priority in my mind.. I was heading for 10% bodyfat but i lost a good 10kg, fat and muscles included..was very weak after that in terms of strength and recovery.

In those extreme state, it is very damaging to the body.
I remember having low blood pressures when i squat and stood up, i almost blacked out.

Try it, weigh and measure all your food and be a caloric nazi for 8 weeks and be in a caloric deficit state by reducing 20% calories every week, last 1 week reduce your intake to about 1200 and see what happens.
I remembered very clearly, when i stopped on the last day and ate nasi lemak.. tears welled up in my eyes and I almost cried.
It tasted so good and it felt so nice.

true enough. But I'm considering the fact that every 15 percent counts. It's like I'll grab hold of that 15% plus I'll stay away from the snickers bar.

It's the incevid. Even 15% percent over 12 workouts taking out say 200 calories per session would be like quite a lot
An easier example will be like going for a sale. 15% of 10 dollars shopping and 15% of 1000 dollars worth of shopping. The discounts very big in difference. But it's still 15%

For a person with 25% body fat. Everything counts. I'm not exactly very knowledgeable about it. But i believe it's effort + discipline + enthusiasm that makes everything work.

And yes. Please share whatever tips on losing weight with me. I'll be more pleased to see what I can improve on
