Weakest link is Adrain. Just pray hard he won't mess up again.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Who is protecting the back 4? Fabinho, Thiago, Henderson are all in quite advanced positions. I see Allan getting a yellow card soon. A few mistimed tackles already

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
1-1 draw at half time. Good 1st half performance by Liverpool. A few missed scoring chances by Mane and Salah.
Mane continues to be threat on the left and he should repeat that effort in the 2nd half. James already have a yellow card, hopefully Allan gets one as well. Coleman is out for Everton. |

Ya lor. No pace to get on the end of passes. Henderson needs to start scolding and guiding.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Adrian Is a stay on the line goalkeeper who hardly comes out to challenge for crosses. That is really worrying when he does not have quick reflexes as well. Without VVD, teams are just going to attack us with high crosses from the side. Gomez can be 10 cm shorter than a tall forward so we need to work on defending high crosses better.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We were the better team and got robbed of 3 points.
Looking at Klopp's big smile I guess he also give up on the PL officials.

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
We were totally screwed over today by refereeing/VAR decisions...both Pickford's assault & Mane's offside were not even marginal calls, they were two 100% stonewall decisions against us.
Looking beyond those...and its hard to right now....we put in a pretty superb performance, although conceding two goals again is just an indictment of how vulnerable we are defensively with Adrian in goal and a nerve-ridden Joe Gomez. Midfield & attacking superb...again many missed chances and again we could have scored 5, some day soon we're going to murder some team. And the brightest light of all....how good was Thiago?? Anyone who had any doubts about how and where he'd fit in and was he really needed got their answer today. His passing is a work of art. Gini, Fab, Hendo, Keita, Ox.....none of them have got his range and most importantly his speed of passing. Its his ability to see and execute the pass that split second faster is what sets him apart. Just hope he's not badly injured after that act of violence by Richarlison. Fuming over the decisions, seething over the assaults, James and Richarlison are whinging gits, and disappointed not to have won.....but not a bit bothered in the bigger scheme of things because the performance showed we are the best team in this league by some distance. That said, really hope VVD and Thiago are not out for long and that Alisson returns quickly. |
