Sadly I have also fallen victim to this scam and lost a substantial amount of money. If only had read about this earlier. Sigh, just take it as a very expensive lesson bah.

Claimed to be from TW and has no friends in SG, and seemed genuine abt making friends. Didn't try to hard-sell her escort services so I trusted her. Then on the 3rd day told me the boss force her to take one 40yo customer who like to play sm, and asked if I could help her by pretending to book her for $200, claiming she will pay back. She then asked to meet at Caldecott MRT, but says she can't give her hp number as it is confiscated by her boss, she can only use tablet, and asked for my hp number.
Reached Caldecott MRT, then her boss called to confirm the booking(using private no. and refused to give me his number) n asked me to buy $200 of iTunes card then send photo of the pin number to the girl, claiming they got cheated before, and they need to authenticate the ITunes pin online to see its real. I was suspicious n didn't want to do it but he say he can't release the girl unless i do so. After sending, 'boss' called to say now I need to pay $1000 deposit as this is my first booking, to ensure that their lady 'get back safely'. I refused to give and hang up the call, and told the girl I was going home. The girl kept pleading with me not to go and pay them the deposit first, saying she will return me the $200 once she comes out; if I go back she would be in serious trouble n the boss will beat her up bla bla bla..I told her to tell her boss I won't report to the police yet, and she tried to rearrange me to do down again today.
After reading fellow bro's story, I'm pretty sure this is a scam n thinking if I can get back at them..

These scammers know the law can't do anything to them, hence getting more daring. Hooligan getting more violent, they know you fight back n if they got injured, you will be charge for assault. Same as some Legalised 'ah long' know the law n act hooligan n opening without fear of the police. So knowing no ppl want to risk getting jail, they start to do it more opening and forcefully. N the Knowing here protect women no matter what women did to the men, some evil women blatantly act as victim. Sigh, indirectly it seems like they thought they are protected by the law for their evil deeds. With Innocent men get punish, therefore bad eggs get protected. It seems all are in a mess nowadays.

bro, don't give in to them no matter what. it is the same hoax they use to con guys thousands of dollars. if u feel uneasy, u can test him and ask him where u stay. i bet he won't be able to answer. but honestly i see no pt in continuing the conversation with them anymore. they know the law and u are unlikely to get your money back; continuing the conversation will only add to more threats/insecurities and u risk getting conned more. i would encourage u to make a police report if u feel u did nothing wrong in the conversations.

Knew this gal from wechat 2 days ago. Stay near Dhoby Ghaut, working as a part-time lover. In another words, providing sex services to men whom are in needs.
Yesterday, I booked a slot with her at 10pm out of curiosity. At around 8pm, she msg me that her boss arrange her to service a customer. But her friends advise her to avoid the customer due to the customer was a pervert whom play SM on gals. She was afraid, so msg me to help her. She asks me to pick her up at Dhoby Ghaut, and told her boss I have arranged a 2hrs slot with her. She will pay for the 2hrs slot ($200) and treat me dinner for helping her. She insists to take my hp number so the boss could verify. I rejected her and told her why not I met up with you, and use your hp to call him. She agreed.
At 10pm, msg her I reach Dhoby Ghaut. She checks with her boss if she allows to come out. But what happen next is what many bros would have guessed, cannot come out lor. Chu pattern liao, say need my hp number, so boss can call me. I told her cannot. Why not she gives me her boss number, I call lor. Can use payphone to call so to avoid leaking my number to unknown strangers.
Best part is she says her boss phone cannot get thru due to boss’s hp got what anti bug or whatever shit device. Joke of the night. Didn’t know the boss like police, so advance. She then kpkb, say I not helping her via audio msg.

2. Didn’t disclose exact location.
3. Even meet up, pls ensure you are familiar with the place. Have a retreat route.
