Thanks for the PMs..... since a few of you have volunteered to interpret my dream..... I shall post it here for analysis. This dream started a few months back and will occur at least once a week sometimes two or even three times weekly.
Initially the details were quite vague but through repeating the same dream.... I was able to pick up details that I missed in the earlier dreams.

I was traveling alone and on my journey I met a fellow traveller. Since he was also traveling alone we both did our travels together. We were comfortable with each other and made a great team.... except that he does not talk about his family or his past. All I knew was he had been studying overseas and was back after several years away.

One day we were caught in a heavy snowstorm and were stranded at the railway station.... while waiting for the weather to clear and the next train was at least 2 days away there was nothing we could do except talk and talk. So I took this opportunity to press him for details about his family and personal life. Finally he relented and opened up a little..... "They split into 2 factions.... and fought each other bitterly until all of them died". Then he clammed up again and refused to divulge anymore info.

The next day the weather cleared up a bit and vendors started coming to the station..... I saw a newspaper boy and bought a copy of the day's newspaper from him. The headline news on the front page was about the massacre of the entire members of a rich and powerful clan.... the newspaper report stated that due to a dispute over the clan's wealth...... the clan split into 2 factions and went to war with each other, eventually ended up with everyone dead ....... the story was so similar to that told by my traveling partner. I then looked up from reading the newspaper to look for my partner but he was nowhere to be found.

So I returned back to the newspaper to carry on reading more..... apparently there was a sole survivor in the massacre..... he was able to escape the massacre because he was studying overseas. And the newspaper carried a picture of the sole survivor...... I was stunned when I saw the picture..... it was the picture of my traveling partner!! I searched the entire station for him but could not locate him..... and as I went back to our spot in the station.... I took another look at the newspaper and this time I got another shock....... the date in the newspaper was in the year 1953!

This dream has kept recurring to me...... but till now I do not understand it.
Somehow I get the feeling it is trying to pass a message to me. The more I try to analyse it the more I get confused. Who is this guy that was traveling with me? What has the clan war got to do with me? Why am I transported back to the year 1953?

Your dream is very complicated. I think you need a highly skilled sifu to decipher it.

I dun stay in a permanent place..... I have a house but it is rented out so I have a few other alternative places to sleep.

I have not much experience in this but my view is that what you are encountering may not be a dream at all. Dreams rarely repeat itself and what you are experiencing is more like a flashback. This is similar to those who meditate deeply and suddenly able to "see into their past lives", or like those who have had near death experiences where they are transported to another realm or have sudden clear memories of the incidents in their life.

The fact that it is the same scenario that appears to you indicates that there is an unresolved issue from your past. What that issue is only you is able to find out as we do not know your past life or relatives. But there are clues in the flashback that keep occurring. Eg the year 1953... it is now 2013 so 1953 was like 60 years ago, which to the Chinese astrology represents 1 generation. So the issue could be related to your previous generation... ie the period of your parents or grandparents. Look for clues in the newspaper report like names, places, familiar landmarks etc. and try connecting these with your ancestry.
The lone surviving traveller companion could be your father or grandfather. Were they the only relations you had from your paternal ancestry.... single sons?

Was your family rich previously? It would be good to do a background check on the family history as to what happened to them?

You may also wish to trace your family name as "clans" in the flashback may not mean your immediate family but the village or town where the same name resides... so it could also the issue was during a civil war period.

That's all I can see at the moment but please keep posting more details when these dreams occur again to you.

I see so many posts, share some experience here. Human born clean, no evil thoughts. As we grow older with more exposure to outside world, we pick up drinking, woman, gamble, eating too much meat and liaring around. Our behaviour will lead us to change our destiny in life. Cursing and cheat others will lead to peoples don't trust you. Our life will slowly go down. Spending excessive money on drinking and womanising will lead to no where. Gambler will be loser by end of the day. Please look back what you have done that lead you to today situation. You see fortune telling or feng shui when you are rich to maintain and not wait until the worse then look for them. All karma in this life will return to you this life. No such thing that you commit offence, the judge say next life you go jail. If you are having a bad time now, be remorseful for what you have done. A correct master will teach you how to break the current situation, the rest of your life is up to you. If you cannot spend money now to look for master, think back how you make money to spend on others. It is up to the master to charge you, he will know whether your ability to charge how much. Master who do fortune telling must be able to look into your pocket first before he tells you other thing. If he cannot know your current situations, you think he can help you. Master will help some who is really in bad situations because they charge other higher. They must do gong de also. Find a master who can help, spend one time better than many times.
