Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
It is certainly obvious that Liverpool need another central defender to partner with VVD . VVD alone cannot solve all of Liverpool's defensive woes if his fellow players continues to make mistakes at critical moment. Hear that Liverpool is trying to get Burtland from Stoke . Seriously ?

Lukaku makes Lovren look like a little sissy playing on the pitch. This Lovren can't run and now can't jump, he is only 29yrs this year. Even Alan Hansen in his 30s can run faster than him. Total disgrace to the No 6 jersey worn by the Red's greats over the years. Yet somehow he always get selected for the big matches. This following is from his wikipedia page: The Telegraph website included Lovren in a feature about the 2014–15 Premier League's 20 worst signings which remarked on the number of his errors that resulted in opposition goals. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Godfather and godson in happier times. From a online news acticle: The German manager was seen running down the touchline shouting aggressively. But it wasn’t at any of the officials, it was at one of his players - Dejan Lovren. The defender dived into two stupid tackles, needlessly conceding a free-kick. And Klopp lost it. He ran 20 yards outside of his technical area to give his player a very stern telling off. Lovren should have been stronger for both of United’s goals in the first-half and his decision to lunge in at Marouane Fellaini towards the end of the match clearly pushed Klopp over the edge. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
Another online article about Klopp's godson:
It was a disappointing Saturday afternoon at Old Trafford for everyone in Liverpool colours but it was a particularly tricky afternoon for centre back Dejan Lovren. The Croatian international was bullied, particularly in the first half, by Manchester United striker Romelu Lukaku as the Belgian bossed the game to help set up Marcus Rashford's two first half goals. And in the post match analysis, Lovren was singled out by former Liverpool players Graeme Souness and Jamie Carragher who believed he needed to wise up and pass Romelu Lukaku on to defensive partner Virgil Van Dijk. '(Dejan) Lovren gets outmuscled by Lukaku, Can is dreaming and Marcus Rashford has had a bit of luck with this one,' Souness summarised. 'The ball drops kindly and deflection takes it past (Loris) Karius. You think Lovren is going to learn from the first one but he doesn’t. 'He gets a lot of stick, Lukaku. (Marcus) Rashford will get the headlines but Lukaku played a big part. I think Dejan Lovren will have nightmares about him tonight.' Carragher cited his time playing in Liverpool's back four and how pride must not get in the way of being an honest professional. The Sky Sports pundit believed Lovren could not accept that Lukaku was stronger than him and his ignorance saw him make the mistake over and over. 'His pride takes over,' Carragher said. 'There is nothing wrong with accepting that someone is stronger than you in a game. Don't fight someone who is stronger than you. 'I wasn’t the greatest in the air so I'd say to Sami Hyppia "swap, you take him". You’ve got to use your brain. He's a machine Lukaku, the size of him, don't let your pride get in the way of it! 'He gets knocked over again, gets bullied, accept he’s stronger than you. Use your brain!' |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
To be fair, if no mistakes were made by players, than no goals would be scored. Defenders would get the most blame if they lose the match, that's how it is! Lukaku is a powerful n skilful player, it may not make much of a difference even Vvd had marked him.
It was the same when Mcity conceded 4 goals against Pool, the goals Pool scored were also defensive errors by Mcity. Let's face it, Manure was the better team that day. They defended well n scored when given the opportunities! Don't see Pool winning that day, it was a poor performance collectively. |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
ManCity just needs to win 2 more games to win the bpl title .
Somehow it is not surprising when it is always the same players who always let Liverpool down .

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
I think we should be laughing at ourselves.
Man Utd beat us and we needed an own goal to make the score look respectable. Seville who beat us in the Europa League finals managed to score 2 goals and won against Man Utd.

Sweet just sweet!!
Thank you very much Wissam Ben Yedder and Sevilla for putting a smile back on my face after a bad start to the week Guess United missed Pawson! Gather that he is eligible for CL matches but unfortunately too late for Mourinho and his boys! |

Re: Liverpool Fc @ Anfield - Reds Supporters Gatherings
This especially goes out to that troll, Andoo
Yes, he really did say this. It’s an insult to fans. Mourinho: “I don't want to make a drama of it. That’s football, it is not the end of the world. I sit in this chair twice in the CL and knocked Man United out with Porto and Real Madrid so it is not something new for the club.” Franck de Boer: "Mourinho might say I'm the worst manager in Premier League history, but tonight he's a manager who has spent nearly £1bn in his career and his teams play like that." |

Jamie Carragher AKA Own Goal King was filmed spitting at a 14 year old female United fan!!! He should have spit at some Liverpool fans instead. Now this ex player AKA Legend has to face police charges and risk losing is £1m a year job. What a legend!!!
