Like what some of the brothers mentioned, after a few times you will be okay. One thing about ticket prices, the night flights before your actual flight can be cheaper. I managed to come in one night earlier and I saved 180 despite paying for one more night of stay.

I met a coyote there and we have been having meeting up whenever I come to Thailand. once you have a regular to take care of you in bkk, it is pretty much set. We both go do our health checks there, she then takes care of me while I take care of her at work. She brings me to wherever I wana go. After that, it’s see you again in 6months for another period of fun. I find this less stressful and she brings her friends along for the fun as well. No need to support her while I’m in SG as well. Just spend within your means and never let small head prevail. More fun than going to the flower joints in sg.

do it in the start of a relationship, so that such things are the norm and wont be faced with suspicion or objection

I recommend you stay in one of the hotels between Nana BTS and Asoke BTS. Whether 3-star or 5-star it is up to your budget. Just booked a return flight to Bkk via vietjet @$255 from 4th to 10th Jan. One of the cheapest I found during that period. It will be a solo trip this time round as buddy time cannot match. However still happy to chiong together if any bro there. I will be in Pattaya entire duration of my trip.

Thanks to many of your suggestions I already have a rough idea of places to try. My budget was around $1K for 5 nights, as this is my first time trying. Is this feasible or need to up?

5 nights 1k = 200 night. u looking at 5000 baht approximately. that is your budget so not easy to fit both drinking , dinner and paid girls in that 5k. unless you spread out like 2 night bonk, 2 night good food drink maybe 3 nights at chill places.

TS, if you haven't go to BKK, here are my suggestions:

1. Not sure how much you want to spend but you can Google BJ Bars. Got plenty such as Woodbar Bangkok, 7th Heaven and Duangporn. As the name suggest, you just go there for BJ but they also offer full course. Most BJs are 800THB unless stated on their site if any.

2. If you want FLs you can try Thermae bar. I forgot the prices but bros in other threads said the standard price is 2500 to 3000THB now. BKK is good for begginers but if you're feeling adventuours you can try taking a 2hr bus to Pataya. Head to the beach walk around 2100 and plenty of FLs. Iirc pre-covid my lady asked for 1200THB. But take note to look out for mata.

3. You can also Google for soapy/nuru massage if you want more fun

4. Besides chionging, I also suggest you makan alot cos there got many things to eat. Can watch Mark Wiens' videos as he has lots of suggestions. I also like to visit their temples as some of them are damn nice.

Edit: 5. ALso get their ezlink card for BTS. They have 2 trains but just get for BTS can liao. I also suggest to try their massage (legit 0ne) cos there is roughly $20 which is damn cheap

$1k is more than enough. If you're not planning to chiong every night you can lower your budget. I'm also heading there around Feb/Mar after CNY. My budget is also $1k for roughly 5-6 nights. For me I plan to chiong every night and I've been to most of the places liao. For me I prefer street food so $30-$40 per days is fine for me.
