THere are a number of them. I know the ones in Goodway Hotel( Near Nagoya), Planet Hotel(Jodoh), and waterfront do provide free tickets. That is they refund you the tickets. But you got to know some contacts there.
Formosa Hotel also got. So far, Waterfront is the biggest and most crowded. Goodway not too bad, and Planet is very new. Hotel vochers can be bought at Goodway for 60 sing per nite. Hotel 81 is behind Goodway for 120K per nite, depend on seasons.

Heard that they are not open yet,close for Hari Raya. due to some govenment things They havent open yet. Can some brothers verify?

There are total of 4 casinos in batam. From tanah merah ferry terminal, the casino is in Nongsa, called Grant Arutha at the Pura Jaya "resort". Provides free ferry tickets, bus awaiting you at ferry terminal to bring all the fresh meat to the slaughter and after slaughtering you will send you back to Nongsa and SG. All so called "free".

From WTC, the casino is at Waterfront City behind Holiday Inn hotel. This is the biggest and most popular. Their runners are at WTC at the booth next to the Penguin counter. U buy the ferry ticket but get reimbursement at the casino. Same deal with ferry, free bus trip and even Immigration clearance. All done at assembly line speed for you.

In Nagoya, the other two casinos are at Goodway Hotel, which is quite small and newest addition is at Planet Holiday hotel, which is quite big. From WTC, take ferry to Batam Centre Terminal, then there are guys carrying the sign "Planet Hotel" to assist you in expediting the partition of your hard earned cash from your wallet. He he. Ah Lau has been patronizing for past 10 years in batam and lost all life savings, including Leisure World.
If you not keen on casinos, got all types of "game centres" can gamble also. The one some samster mentioned in this thread called Lucky Studio is at Formosa Hotel in Nagoya. Got local jackpot machines aplenty like the ones in the football clubs in SG which are now banned. But also got horse machines and the rolling ball games, all controlled by computer and possibly magnets. Go ahead, make their day!!! That's what the operators want in Batam i.e more suckers like ah lau hahaha.

Of course many other forms of gambling in batam , in the clubs, pubs and discos. All kinds of syndicates set up for SG pple to go and part with their year-end bonuses?? Good Luck and Heng Heng OK. hehehe...

if you take the first ferry can claim full refund.....
