Polygamy VS Monogamy

Serious sometime we need to be fair abit also. If you wan polygramy then it should be fair the woman has the same equal rights. imagine you sharing your wife with another man.

Furthermore, having monogramy doesn't means you can't have sex with other woman right? those who tot of this is likely single. If you're married, you'll know the number of troubles just one woman gives. Imagine you have a bunch of them. Marriage is not about sex. Its about living with another person. There is a difference with marriage and having a gf mistress or fl.

Actually, I did some 'research' on the net previously, and found out that the negatives of polygamy r actually not as much compared to the positives.

I recalled reading articles of pple in a certain part of USA who practise polygamy. The result didn't turn out bad at all. Then a few years back I read an article that says in Thailand there's this guy who married a pair of twins together. It seems that the twins r willing to share the same husband (probably he is too good to belong to only one ), and in Thailand, polygamy is not allowed. But because the sisters insist, there was nothing the gahmen could do

My sister also has a fren who's the child of a 'second' wife in Thailand. Think she's the sister of the 1st wife.

So what are the postives and negatives of Polygamy?

Frankly, in Sillypore, women r not submissive like in vietnam or cambodia, most of them will not take this polygamy thing. Even if they do, you will only have double the trouble, wives fighting, you need to remember two birthdays, two anniversaries, and if you like to fire... u might end up with double the kids... not to mentioned your expenses also double..

No woman will willing share one man just like no man will want to share their woman.. no normal man that is Having more than one wife is just like trouble waiting to happen.

I think I still prefer my one wife, many FBs theory..

Well, you can just google it. Anyways, polygamy is not just in third world countries, but in developed countries as well. In my previous post, I stated that a town in USA practices polygamy. It's not illegal in that state, by the way.

You can just google it on the web for polygamy, hahaz. I think we only see the bad side of polygamic r/s. Anyway, Khong Guan's founder had 5 wives, if I'm not wrong, and they lived in harmony. It's all about management.

I think its the state of Utah, which happens to be the base of the Mormons, where some divisions of it still practise polygamy as laid down by the founder. Legally allowed, if you are a mormon.

It can be. Speaking from personal experience, my grandfather (not Khong Guan of course) had 5 wives too. So many children that he doesn't remember their names. It doesn't help that some families got to have a common word in their names to mark the same generation. So how many guys names can you apply to the eg. Chen Wei XXX combination? Weixiong, Weijian, Weiguo, Weilun, Weiliang, Wei.... 14 sons to name this way. Father don't remember son's names in the end. Ridiculous.

Youngest wife is same age as first son. Youngest kid of youngest wife is still younger than kid of first son. This kind of family dynamics is very different from what we see in out society these days. Your uncle/auntie (offspring of youngest wife) can actually be 5 to 10 years younger than yourself (offspring of first kid of first wife). So go figure at how weird things are.

First of all, i think that is rare to be able to manage. Khong Guan's founder is probably a very good businessman, that is why he can manage..

Second of all, he is rich, damn rich.. that is why he can afford it. Not for our average Joe..

Third of all, it was a long time ago probably.. in those days, women are simpler, not like today, lots of graduates and talk about women's rights.
