For hotels in China ...the prices of the travel agents in Singapore really sucks. Depending which city in China I go, i alway book my hotel thru the following China agencies :


a) http://www.ctrip.com
Generally the most choice.The biggest hotel booking agency in China.

b)http://www.elong.com/
Very strong in Beijing and the northern cities.

c)http://www.v222.com/
Strong in Southern China like SZ, GZ, XM, ZH etc.

After viewing the rates on their website, I will normally call them on the phone to book. Anyway, IDD call is so cheap to China is now so cheap.

One unique feature about hotels in china is that if you are a regular in a particular hotel and intend to stay there for future trips, you can negotiate with their sales team for a "special" VIP rate. Some even issue VIP card which comes with special treatment like better rates, meal voucher, free up grade of rooms etc..... This is good for bros who frequent certain hotel.

I am new to this site. Was recommended by friends and claimed I can get alot of info from here. After reading all the ealier post, realised that yourself and a lots of brother here really a master of masters.... Hope all brothers can help me out.

I will be traveling to Guangzhou for the trade fair. But thought of staying in Dongguan instead due to cheaper hotel rate than in Guangzhou and a better place for fun. Will be flying in to Hong Kong and transfer to Dongguan. According to the earlier post, I most likely will have to take a train from Lowu to Dongguan, right?

Can you provide me with some hotel details like you have mention like Dong Chen & Kang Di? Can also provide me with your contact for sauna or NC too?

Firstly, when you say Dongguan - I don't think you know how big that city is. Changping is Dongguan, Zhang Mu Tou is also Dongguan. Houjie too is Dongguan...Xin Tang is Dongguan too...so really where are you staying? If you are attending the Guangzhou Canton Fair, then I suggest you don't stay so far. Stay in Panyu like I mentioned above - and whenever you want you can always travel to DG for cheonging or can do it itself in Panyu.

Last week was just entertaining some guests. Went to Kiss KTV near "Shi Chang Da Jiu Dian" Shi Chang Hotel. On the 7th Floor. Anyway, we were flooded with about 60 girls.
