Hey, first time going to china. heading out there on sept 26 to oct 3. landing in HKIA and taking taxi to gongzhau train station and heading to changping. My question is this the best route for a newbie like me. Don't speak mandarin if my life depended on it. My friend suggested a private car. what is your input on this?
Does anyone have info on a place to stay? My friend's uncle said he was going to book us a hotel there but we are not relying too much on that...we need a backup plan. any help on booking hotel in changping, number or website(found the miraton website but does not show pricing, anyone have a guest on that?)

Whether Sheraton is a must or not, it is subjected to individual's preferences. But at least, to me, I try my best NOT to go there; and, for those bros who following my postings, you should well known that I even rejected the whole lot of the top 10 beauties. Huizhou is not under Dongguan, it is a city by itself in Guangdong.
This is the reason why I never post Huizhou info under this thread.
I try to keep this thread wiithin Dongguan, otherwise the discussion will be too wide (just like I never post Guangzhou and Shenzhen info here), otherwise this thread will become "Monthly trip to Guangdong..." (then it can pao-ka-liao, including Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Foshan, Qingyuan...)

Huizhou looks to be an interesting place. Plenty of saunas, KTVs. I was there twice but didn't go for R & R as both times were with a colleague on working trip.
