ShangHai Recommendation!

dear all,

been in SH for 4 days liao.. other than xiangyang lu shopping and one night in "jin pi hui huang" .. nothing else was done..

anyone wanna gather and make the next 4 days more eventful??

dunno why my earlier posts did not appear at all.
any interested in gathering.. I'm in SH nw.. and for the next 3 nights..
went to "jin pi hui huang" but that's it.. nothing much to report either..

It is very light snow now anyway. But the weather is said to get better by Wednesday. No more below zero.

Also, depends on what you mean by happening. If you want bars & pubs, Mao Ming Lu and Heng Shan Lu area is the best. Rest of the stuff is pretty much everywhere. You can get around very easy by taxi anyway.

No worries on that drinking part as I'm cutting down on my drinking habt as well.....anyway, drinking is very individual bro, so rest assured that all bros r very respectfiul here to the rest of the bros who dun drink la.

Lots of interesting places along or nearby Xiang Yang Road bro...
U can go to a regular Massage Center (but no nonsense) just merely good massage....along Xiang Yang Road, near Jian Guo Road junction. Oriental Oasis. Nice place + good ambience.

U can try staying at Motel 168, very nice place located behind Ritz Carlton Hotel, Nanjing Xi Road on Chang Shou Rd, on An Yuan Rd. Tel : 8621 63 168168.
Very reasonable rates at RMB 298 per nite highest rate they priced at.
Rooms with split mezzanine bed area on 2nd level.
Lots of foreigners staying there.

Places of happenings, u can try go pubbing along Mao Ming Road (Babyface, Manhattan Bar) or Heng San Road (Zapatas) or Tong Ren Rd, near junction of Yan An rd as this is a new stretch of bars opened here which r the same joints along Mao Ming Rd.
