There was a news report in The New Paper. I think it was last month. A middleaged S'porean Chinese bespectacled man was reported in Bangkok. He accosted fellow S'porean tourists there. But the HDB flat is occupied by a family who claim they have nothing to do with the bespectacled conman n they don't know him. A number of people have been visiting this flat for the same reason. If this happens to u in Bangkok, pls take a photo of this man. Contact The New Paper to see if it's the same conman. If it's him, post his photo in STOMP. Enjoy your holiday in Bangkok. I don't have a chance to do so.

One incident at MBK area an Ah Pek (not that one from Special Forces) tried to borrow some money from me to take coach to Singapore.
Say he'll return me the money and even showed me his Singapore passport.

I almost wanted to reply him that Singapore passport is worth a lot on the black market in Thailand.
The profits gained is enough to cover new passport replacement fees plus First Class air ticket back to Singapore.
