Stealing is a criminal offence. You report someone steal from you regardless who you are and under what circumstances the police will investigate.

of course can withdraw....agree with u on this...cos last time in my younger days was caught house breaking and the owner of the coffee shop withdraw the charges on the recommendation of the police so end up kana warning. Guess the police also lz to do the paper works for pressing charges.
