I need advice from Brothers who are familiar with apartments in CP. I used to cheong in CP quite often in 2008 and 2009 going there almost on a monthly basis. In 2010 and 2011, I only went twice cos I was transfered to HCMC. In Feb 2012, I was transfered to GZ and have visited CP 3 times. Since I am now so close to CP, I want to get an affordable apartment. I have some girlfriends living behind Hui Hua; one paying rmb500/month for a small unit about 15 sqm and another paying rmb750/mth for a 20sqm studio. This place is not so foreigner friendly. Can anyone point me to studio, about 25sqm for between rmb1k to rmb1.5k? Safe, secure and foreign friendly neat mirathon area. I have some bad experience with realty agents in GZ and think its best to first research before going to them. Thanks in advance!
The one next to Walter ( 金匯大廈 ) and the one next to PZL ( 聯邦大廈 ) should be within your requirement. I know at least 2 bros here in the forum can help you with the informations.......
I've been staying in Walter since they first opened some 7 years ago. Tried other newer ones as they open but remain staying there mostly. Yes, the decor is aging and need to cross the main road to get to the town center. But I cannot find one in CP that offers me better service yet......
I have been staying there since 2008 and of all my visits, there was only one time I stayed in Hui Hua cos Walter was out of biz suite. I agree Bro FGG on the excellence service particularly when Manager Susan was still there, she was the best.. She was so nice that she even prepare a locker behind the reception for us to store our things when we leave CP, the shorts and tshirts that we cant bring back cos we tell our wives we go business trip. Anyway, I love the business suite not becos I am rich but becos I snore.. And when the girls bui tahan, they can go sleep on the couch outside.. I wish to meet up with you guys if there is a chance, I used to have a CP gang but they are only going in May/Jun..

I was not active in the thread, i started looking at sbf only in oct knowing my transfer, to get info of GZ, but GZ is really dry and sad and CP is just too convenient . Nonetheless, we should meet. I will bringing a Vietnamese friend to CP from 20th to 22nd of Apr and have aleady booked Walter. Are the dates coinciding with yours?

This is a place where a lot of KTV gals live. They also have studio which u need. The price is confirm within what u look for.
There are other place which have better deco and new. Like 雅高 etc.. So far I find housing agents in cp still alright. Just give them the price u willing to pay and area u looking for. They can get the units for u. The prices they give is also more or less the same +- 200 rmb. A lot of bros in here do rent apartments in cp. they can help u better.
Oh.. Try not to use the few agents beside PZL.. I find their pricing of rent higher than others smaller one.
The con of using agent is u have to pay them 1/2 month rent as fee.

one of the best option for late night flight is tiger via sz, reach CP about 12.30am, 200rmb. still can get ur mm to look for you and go drink.

2+1 means 2 years plus 1 year renewal deposit or 2 months deposit? Thinking of renting flat also.. Kns paying more for hotel a month than renting a unit there.
