I already have a few replacement for Formosa. Why would i still be thinking of going back to a place that has already close down few years ago?
Even though if a new hotel operator willing to operate back Formosa Hotel but the old furniture we previously used have all been sold away.
New fixtures, fitting and furniture replaced may not bring back the good old memory and atmosphere of formosa anymore.

Yes, the ex-formosa reception staff said that she quit her job to take care of her children. Remembered 12 years ago she recommended me to formosa thats how i started my virgin trip to batam. It was indeed a cosy, friendly and convenient hotel to stay all these years before closure.
Any bros here use gojek app to go around in batam? Is it same app and login as singapore gojek app or have to download a new gojek app in batam and sign up a new account for use in batam?
One source reported that some Spore cheongster at batam wanted to buy ticket back to singapore and requested to arrive at harbourfront ferry terminal instead of tanan merah ferry terminal
But was told by the batam ferry terminal staff that Harbourfront Ferry Terminal will only start operation on 15 June 2022 and the ticket price remain the same at 80 bucks for 2 ways.
80 SGD for a return ticket.... Was this the same price 2 years ago?

Pre-covid time use to be $48 for return ticket. But was then revised to $80.
I reckon the reason for the steep increase in the ferry ticket price could be due to the global oil price increase and the reduction in the frequency of the ferry departure and arrival.
Horizon ferry used to have 12 departure per day before covid but now was reduced to 3 departure per day.
Once on wednesday harbourfront ferry terminal resume operation, the frequency may increase back to 12 times per day.
And probably the return ferry ticket price may be reduce to 60 (now currently 80) since the frequency increase which generate more profit for the ferry company
